About this house rental
Soul-replenishing peace and quiet will envelop you at Grand Vista from the moment you arrive. Located in remote Telluride and boasting some of the most magnificent views in the Rocky Mountains, this four-bedroom estate has space for ten people to relax. This home was designed to frame and feature the breathtaking views of Mount Wilson from nearly every room, plus you’ll be surrounded by blissful, valuable privacy.
In the massively grand GREAT ROOM, one entire wall is outfitted with gleaming glass windows that perfectly frame the work-of-art view of the ridge. On one side of the room is a soaring stone fireplace that’s surrounded by a soft sofa and multiple armchairs, creating a perfect spot to curl up with a cup of hot cocoa on a chilly evening. This room also features glass doors that lead outside to the elegant terrace, where the views get even better.
In the custom chef’s KITCHEN, double-stacked cabinets and gleaming granite countertops create the perfect space for preparing meals and snacks for your crew. Premier appliances include a huge Viking gas range, massive refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and a butler’s pantry that we’re happy to stock for you before you arrive. Besides bar stool seating at the island, there’s also a FORMAL DINING AREA with magnificent mountain views.
Grand Vista includes TWO PRIMARY BEDROOM SUITES on the home’s main level— ideal for couples or families traveling together. The first suite includes a luxe queen-size bed that sits in front of the cozy fireplace, and a private bathroom with a steam shower and soaking tub. The next bedroom suite has a king-size bed, desk area, gas fireplace, and an ensuite bathroom. Each of the suites allows for access to the outdoor heated deck.
On Grand Vista’s lower level, there are two more bedroom suites. First, there’s a BUNK ROOM with two full-over-full size bunk beds and a fully attached bathroom with a lovely copper sink. The FINAL BEDROOM features a queen-size bed, a full ensuite bathroom, plus access to the outdoor hot tub for a relaxing soak before bedtime.
Besides the monumental views and the highly coveted peace and quiet, guests of Grand Vista will enjoy a host of extras too. Stargazers will love to take a peek through the telescope, and movie lovers will delight in the spacious MEDIA ROOM with a 65-inch HDTV. There’s also a private OUTDOOR DECK with a gas grill and prep sink, and a stationary bicycle for getting a little work out in. The MUD ROOM and LAUNDRY ROOM are just ideal for shedding your winter gear before heading inside.

We loved Grand Vista! The name isn't misleading--this home has a fantastic view of the mountains and is a short drive to the ski resort. It's a lovely, comfortable home; perfect for hanging out with family & friends (my wife & I, 3 adult children, and 2 of their friends). And lots of space for everyone, including doing their "working from home," as some of us did. A real "test" occurred when there was an issue with the kitchen drain, and the management really came through--they sent a professional plumber over asap, and got it fixed. And, as we had so much fun we didn't want to leave, they were super flexible/helpful in enabling us to stay an extra day. We plan on coming again!

This was the best experience. The pictures and description of the property is beyond spot on. The home is extremely private and has the most amazing views. The home is managed by exception stays which is a concierge service. They were easily accessible and checking in regularly. We had issues with our car while we were there ( make sure you have AWD/4WD) and they managed to find us a car service to help us out. They also recommended snowmobile company and ice climbing companies and recommended grocery delivery service so we had groceries arrive shortly after we arrived.

This is a gorgeous home! We loved the visit in Telluride. We stayed for one month. Size of home is great for group, tons to do. I loved the location being 10 min to town and very close to hiking, rivers, etc. View is phenomenal. House is very well maintained and very clean. Property team very responsive. Had some issues with bathroom drainage but it was managed well.
