Monticchiello as a place is fantastic with great shops and restaurants. The people of the village are so friendly and welcoming. It is the best place to visit in all of Italy. The accomodation was five star and it became our home for fifteen days. Futura and family are the best hosts so thank you for making our stay the most memorable of our six week stay in Italy. We arrived to a lovely big basket of fruit and a homemade cake. Futura then came in person to welcome us and give us suggestions of things to do in the area. She arranged for us to attend a cooking class at Daria in the village. The cooking class was SO much fun and awesome food at the restaurant. Futura answered any of our questions promptly. At the end of our stay she came by to wish us well. Truly an exceptional host. Would highly recommend for anyone to stay here.

5 Stars would be ten if they were available, we loved our short stay here, and would recommend this to everyone. Located a five minute walk from the historic and charming village centre of Montichiello, this is a perfect spot for visiting Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano and dont forget Bagno Vignoni for the free thermal waters. Although part of a contemporary property, the apartment is full of charm and character, very tastefully furnished and in excellent condition. Well equipped overall, both bedrooms have en-suite, Wi-Fi and parking out the front, everything we wanted. The most beautiful Mantovana cake and fresh fruit from the garden waiting for us on arrival, and the owners were wonderful, very friendly, made us very welcome and couldnt do enough for us.Highly recommended, well definitely stay here again :-)
