About this house rental

3800 Square foot log home built in 2009. Currently 18 homes in a subdivision of over 600 acres. 3 Trout ponds in common area. Abuts the Pisgah National Forest, yet close to Blue Ridge Parkway for beautiful sight seeing. About 5 miles from Little Switzerland and approximately 10 miles from Spruce Pine NC
House elevation is 3600 feet above sea level, large lower level, with air hockey with pool table and TV's

This is such a hidden gem. The pictures do not do it justice. The views are amazing; the house is a great size for a large group. We had 6 of us, 4 teenagers and my husband and myself and it was so perfect. Enough bathrooms, levels for folks to hangout. The house comes with a Keurig, an Alexa to listen to music, everything you need to cook dinner, enjoy a glass of wine in the rocking chairs on the deck, while listening to smooth jazz. If you want to venture out, little Switzerland is about a 15-minute drive with restaurants, or you can hit the brewery/winery that is about a 12-minute drive. Also, grab some Hershey's ice cream at emerald which is about 12 minutes away as well. We will definitely be back.

The owner was very helpful and responsive. The property and location was good. While not an issue for us, the property does not have a hot tub as listed. There is a jacuzzi bathtub in the main bathroom,but no hot tub. That would not keep us from renting, but for some people it would so that is why I mention it.

Traveling with our 3 adult ‘kids’ was wonderful in this spacious mountain home! We loved sitting on the back porch and having not another soul around…so peaceful! Saw several deer! We would definitely stay again!
