Lovely little barn conversion with lots of character, front area has large covered area which is great for shading and a place to do stuff if its raining. The chickens and cats greeted us each morning. Sam was so helpful and made time to let our kids feed the Alpacas.

Not a problem for us but stairs are quite steep.

Very peaceful. Everything you might need was provided for in the gite.

If you want to escape the modern world for a few days this is a great location. Very comfortable, spacious and well-fitted and located in an idyllic and tranquil country setting. The owner is the perfect host – very friendly and helpful and informative about the area, surroundings and local nature. We really enjoyed the al fresco dining area at any time of the day with its beautiful changing view of the fields and woods. There's great walking in the surrounding countryside and the on-site alpacas, pig, chickens etc. add to the experience. There are good supermarkets to stock up at within a few km, as well as cultural attractions and shopping in the historic nearby towns of Bourganeuf and Bénévent-l'Abbaye, amongst others.

The location is perfect for a green cure after a lockdown :)
