An absolute find !

Absolute gem ! If you want a quiet relaxing haven this is the place to stay - lovely hosts Bill and Frances - we had a lovely welcome on arrival and then we were left to enjoy the shepherds hut and hottub for a lovely couples weekend away - it’s clean cosy and Bill and Francis have thought of everything you might need for your stay - was lovely to just hear the birds and the waterfowl and no other noise around - the bed was very comfortable and the place very clean and well equipped - the hot tub has the most amazing views . I can’t think of anything negative to say at all . Thank you we will return . Jazz and Phil

Morris the shepherds is absolutely beautiful! Well thought out with everything you could want inside for the perfect stay. Bill and Frances are lovely and were very helpful! The location of the hut is stunning away from the hustle and bustle. The hot tub is absolutely stunning especially with the views. We took advantage of the barbecue area and also lit the firepit! Amazing stay for the wife and I and we definitely will be returning in the future. 10/10 thanks again for a great weekend bill and Frances 😄

A Hidden Gem in Carmarthen

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a wonderful stay at Morris Shepherd’s Hut in Carmarthen for our 11th anniversary. From the moment we arrived, Bill and Francis made us feel so welcome. They are truly lovely hosts. The hut itself was warm, cosy, and beautifully put together with everything we could possibly need. We especially loved the log burner, which made it so warm and inviting inside. The private location was peaceful and relaxing, and we enjoyed having a BBQ outside as well as the luxury of the jacuzzi. Sitting in the hot tub under the stars was simply unforgettable and there's nothing like enjoying a morning coffee by your own private waterfall! Pure bliss. It really is the perfect getaway, whatever the weather. We were pleasantly surprised to have internet connection on our phones too, which was a bonus, and there were local amenities nearby when needed. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect anniversary break and would love to return again in the future. Thank you so much, Bill and Francis, for such a memorable stay. Fiona & Lawrence

What a special, spectacular place. So tranquil. The whole garden and grounds and view from the hot tub. This is an absolute gem of a place. The hosts were amazing. They went above and beyond. Everything you can think of was there and we were welcomed with such kindness and warmth. Our stay was perfect from start to finish. All the little touches and the hard work that goes in really doesn't go unnoticed. Superb place! Would highly recommend and we cannot wait to return 💖

Morris' Hut exceeds expectation.

The setting is idyllic. Everything is catered for with breakfast provided and wood available for the fires. The hot tub view over the valley really was something else. The local area is also worth a visit. St Clears is an underestimated find. Nonna's Italian cafe is special.

The rain! Although there is enough cover there to not let that spoil your stay and actually adds to the ambience of the retreat.

Heaven! Absolute perfection!

Friendly. They went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and welcoming. Made fresh pastries for me and even a birthday card and gift. The hut was comfortable and clean, perfect for my needs. The view was spectacular. And the hot tub perfection. There’s also a little waterfall which I fell asleep at night listening to along with owls. The owners really do everything they can to ensure your stay is what you need and are easy to chat to. I will be booking again!

Me and my partner have loved every second

The bedroom was so quiet but if we wanted we could open the window and hear the waterfall nearby which was therapeutic but if you closed the window it was quiet. But I would rather hear it to be honest.

Beautiful location spectacular views gardens lovely full of wildlife from blue tits yellow tits and even a woodpecker. Breakfast provided exceeded our expectations from cereals to fresh fruit yogurt croissants muffins bagels selection of jams honey and more. Frances and Bill were excellent host warm welcoming and friendly nothing was too much trouble they have made a little piece of heaven for people to experience. The 4 night stay exceeded our expectations and are already planning for the next visit, even though we had a six hour journey to get there it was well worth it .Frances and Bill thank you both so much for making us so welcome and for the afternoon Tea you left us as a welcome.

Everything about our stay was perfect! Morris was beautiful inside and out and complimented perfectly by the gorgeous surroundings, the BBQ facilities, the hot tub, and the lovely Frances and Bill. I thought the rain would dampen the experience but as all the facilities are covered and there's a fire to keep warm it did not. The gorgeous cats were an added bonus. Loved every minute of our stay. The best place we have ever stayed!

We recently visited for a wedding anniversary suprise and what a weekend! A beautiful and cozy Shepard's hit nested away in the countryside. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, gave us a full rundown of the site and facilities on arrival. Morris is clean, cozy and well equipped with everything you could need. Morris is beautifully decorated and you can tell alot of thought has gone into every detail. The hot tub and grounds are extremely well kept and enjoyable in both good and poor weather. Sitting on the deck bird watching, with a fire pit and a drink in hand is absolutely the way to go. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. We enjoyed our weekend that much that we had rebooked for later this year before leaving this visit. Love love love it ❤️ thankyou both
