Irene City Villas

Staff is exceptionally hospitable and warm. Shout out to Emi, she was very helpful with recommendations and service. Location is good, away from crowd yet walkable to main square.

Great location! The property is just a 10-minute walk from the bus station in Fira, where you can catch buses to pretty much anywhere on the island. The accommodation itself was super spacious and comfortable, with a TV, as well as a tablet and a mini projector if you wanted to watch something from your phone. There was also a great selection of breakfast options to choose from.

The jacuzzi could have been hotter.

Location and layout of the cave house were perfect for us. The reception staff was super friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in a couple of hours early. Great shower, comfy bed and lots of space.

The hot tub hadn’t been cleaned and was full of sand, and was just a bit old and dilapidated. Although there was a screen at the window in the bathroom, the place was full of mosquitos when we checked in and they continued to get in down the ventilation shaft in the bedroom. We found the cleaner was a bit invasive - one day we were feeling unwell and were having a lie in and she continued to hammer on the door despite knowing we were in bed, until we let her in. She also let herself in an hour before check out while we were trying to have breakfast on the patio.

The bed was comfortable

The facilities are lacking , no basic toilet paper, and tissue, housekeeping need to be better. The water is damn cold, seemed that heater is not working !!
