Wonderful Japanese property with tea ceremony comes with the stay. Mr. Kikuchi was wonderful, attentive and very passionate about Japanese tea ceremony.

It could be hard to find it as the property is located between Neighbourhood however, Google map should be able to get you there. There’s no clear sign outside indicating that that this is a place to stay. But there should be a note in the front of the gate to use the intercom to communicate with the host.

We had a wonderful stay at Tomiya Ryokusuian Sado-Taiken. Although we arrived much later than expected because of travel delays, the owner was incredibly kind and waited for us to check in. They were very communicative throughout the whole process and always happy to help, which made a stressful travel day much easier. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax after a long journey. There was also ample parking available, which was very convenient since we were travelling by car. We really appreciated the warm hospitality and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with a genuinely caring host.
