Please be aware, at this cabin due to restrictions in the subdivision, there is a strict NO MOTORCYCLE/NO TRAILER/NO EXCEPTIONS Policy in place. If you bring a motorcycle or Trailer to this location, they may be towed at your expense or you may be asked to leave the community. At Blue Sky Cabin Rentals we do offer other properties that are motorcycle and trailer friendly so please let us know if you will be bringing either and we will be happy to send you quotes for other options.

Cartecay Canoe House has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths in a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Beautifully decorated with ceiling to floor windows which allows you to enjoy watching the river stream while lounging by the indoor wood burning fireplace. Fish right outside your back door and then continue your fishing experience by preparing your trout in this well-equipped kitchen. Cartecay Canoe House has all the amenities you need close by with the relaxing feel of home. The cabin sits on a river that is conveniently connected to the exit point for several river outfitters. You can travel downstream with a kayak, canoe, paddleboard or tube and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the river which extends to the rapids. Not that adventurous, try your luck at fly fishing in one of the best rivers for trout fishing in North Georgia. All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:
Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-washcloth per person listed on guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dustpan, mop, internet, and propane gas grill. In addition, we provide a complimentary start-up supply of Toilet Tissue (1 roll per bathroom), 1- roll paper towels, 4- kitchen garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent for at least 2 loads. Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

The cabin was beautiful and equipped with all we needed. Our only concern was the steps. We are over 70 years old and that was difficult for us.

I’d like to return. When you want/need to change something like the check-in time, call and discuss it, just don’t send an email. Had we not had another cabin to go hang out in, we would have been very upset.

The home is clean and wrll equipped. Location is beautifully. The stairs and
Steep slope to get to the cabin is a bit much. There should be more explanation on the listing. The owner is great with communication prior to the rental. However the management company is ill equipped for emergencies. The day we arrived there was a tornado and power was knocked out. When speaking with them the next day they had no suggestions as to how to remediate my needs. I have medical equipment that requires power. This was also a working vacation. There suggestion "go to starbucks"After 30 hours with no power we had no choice but to leave
