About this cottage rental

Our cottage has been newly renovated to a high standard with your comfort in mind. It has been designed as a spacious open plan living area , with underfloor heating throughout.

It has a newly fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable bedroom with new king size bed, an en suite shower room, with large walk in shower .

Patio doors lead to a pretty secluded garden, with the Langford brook running past, and overlooking the neighbouring fields, a perfect place to eat al fresco.

Our local pub is newly renovated serving excellent food. It is 200 metres from the cottage ,booking advisable .

Perfect for two people this little cottage has everything you need for get away from it all break in the country. The layout is open plan and double doors lead out into a stunning garden, not a large space but beautifully tended for. The kitchen has everything you need, all in perfect condition.The bathroom is straight off the bedroom and has a fabulous walk in shower with a user freindly rain forest shower. We had a lovely weeks stay here and really at the end didn't want to go home!

The reason for the holiday was to get a good rest away from the office with the option to be out when we wanted or stay in if we wanted. The cottage allowed us to do that. Also the hostess was on hand if we needed anything.

We had a wonderful few days staying in Acacia Cottage. The cottage and garden are both absolutely beautiful, and incredibly well looked after. The cottage was spotless and has everything you could need, and more. Jane and Vic are perfect hosts, they are there if you need them but respect your privacy too. Jane left a welcome pack for us, which was very thoughful and very much appreciated. Her homemade jam is amazing! We would absolutely recommend Jane and Acacia Cottage x

The cottage is simply beautiful, warm and cosy, lovely garden with a stream running past, excellent location for exploring the area, with a very fine pub just 5 mins walk away for those days we couldn't be bothered to cook. Directions were clear and accurate and easy to find the place. Our hosts were both lovely, we didn't need any extra help but felt sure it would be provided if we asked. We very much appreciated the homemade jam and other little touches. Wifi was very good. Bed very comfortable. We hope to come back!

This cottage was even better than we expected and it was absolutely perfect for our two night stay. It was spotless, with everything on hand you could think of. The decor was stunning and the garden was a beautiful place to sit out in (even in October). We could not fault it and the hosts were lovely and friendly, with advice on where to eat locally. We had a fantastic meal in the Langford Inn and found it to be a perfect place to explore the surrounding area. Would definitely like to return.

Had an extremely enjoyable and very comfortable stay for 5 nights, in what has to be the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in. It is very tastefully decorated with an excellent bed, shower and all the kitchen equipment you could possibly need. The patio garden is a delight, full of beautiful plants and to add to it the lovely stream running along. Lower Langford is a lovely village with the bonus of a great pub just 5 min. walk away. Looking forward to another stay and meeting up with Jane and Vic the owners of the cottage.

I have been a regular user of Homeaway/ Vrbo for many years and can honestly say that this is the best property we have had the pleasure of booking, by a country mile. The location is perfect for exploring North Somerset, which is beautiful and the knowledge that we were returning each evening to a beautiful cottage with an exquisite babbling brook at the foot of the garden, was just sublime.

After living and travelling abroad fo 30 plus years I found this to be one of the best designed and equipped locations for a short stay. Jane and Vic where extremely helpful on local knowledge while allowing all the privacy we needed. Will definatley be back and would have no hesitation in recommending the cottage to friends and family. Also very good value for the price

Lovely situation with the pretty patio bordered by a babbling brook. The cottage is in a quiet Somerset village, easy access by car to Bristol, Wells, Bath and country walks. Thoroughly enjoyed our week; parking no problem, friendly pub easy walking distance. Good hosts! In all, excellent.

My partner and I had a four night stay in this lovely little cottage. We had a really nice time and we would definitely recommend it. The location is great. It's not far to get to all the near by attractions and it's a nice place to stay in and relax. The garden is great for sitting out on a sunny day.

This is a perfect little cottage for a couple looking for a break in a gorgeous peaceful location, that is also handy for visiting the many attractions in this beautiful area. Lovely little touches to the cottage really make this a unique experience, and hosts Vic and Jane have done a fantastic job in creating this tranquil space and have thought of everything that you might need, as well as being the most welcoming hosts with lots of local knowledge. Really can't fault it at all! Will definitely be looking to return sometime.

Fabulous place to stay. It's spacious and well laid out with a very pretty little garden with views of a little Brook and open countryside. The underfloor heating kept it perfectly cozy. The cottage is exactly as pictured and described. When we arrived there was a welcome basket of bread and homemade jam which was a lovely touch as well as milk and butter in the fridge. We had a wonderful time visiting various places of interest as recommended by Jane and Vic in there information pack. We will definitely book again and highly recommend.

We had a lovely week in this beautiful cottage. It was immaculately clean and everything was provided, including lots of little extras like the welcome basket and milk in the fridge. The courtyard garden is so relaxing and tranquil, and the cottage is tastefully furnished to a very high standard. There's a good pub 5 minutes' walk away as well as a well-stocked foodstore within 5 minutes' drive. Vic and Jane were so friendly, making sure we had everything we needed but without encroaching. We would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage and would love to stay here again. One of the best we have ever stayed at!

Just returned from a fabulous stay at this wonderful cottage in the lovely village of Lower Langford. We have stayed at many cottages over the years and this ranks as one of the best. Spotlessly clean and ideally located, it was the perfect base for travelling around Somerset viewing the wonderful towns and attractions in the area. Had a nice surprise on arrival with a box of goodies which included some lovely Gooseberry home-made jam that was delicious (so good that we got the recipe). Had some lovely chats with Jane and her husband and was very impressed with the flowers in the garden which was lovely. Without a doubt, we will be making a return visit to this wonderful cottage and can't thank the hosts enough for allowing us to share their fabulous cottage.

Beautiful cottage for 2 people, with an imaginatively planted courtyard garden. The cottage is a perfect base for the area, very well fitted out, clean & bright with lovely personal touches.
