the location was right in the centre of the cobbled streets of the old town. The property was comfortable if a little tired. Our main problem was the middle bedroom, which we chose to sleep in the first night to save walking up another flight of stairs, was a little loud at night. People coming from the rowing club next door having loud conversations in the alley in frount. We had to move into the top bedroom with a double glazed window on the other side of the house, after that especially as there was an 80s night in the club.

We had a great time in Whitby at this cottage. It had realwarmth and history, close to everything! The Beachsteps away was a hit for my kids and the FriendshipRowing Club pub was nice for me and wife. Mike and Louise were awesome!
