    The staff was very friendly, the hotel itself see better days. However, it is easy to get to from and to the airport and the city for exploring. The A subway train is literally in front of the hotel. Long Island Rail Road is only few minutes away also. The neighborhood is not the best, but the deli 2 doors down on the corner is open 24/7 and we had an awesome sandwich late night when we got there.

    We felt very unsafe walking just three minutes from the subway to the hotel entrance. The lobby had more than 20 camera monitors facing every single hallway. The reception has a I’m thick glass separating the personnel from us (it lets you know the kind of neighborhood). And we had to asks for the remote control (and give back at check out (another sign)
