About this cottage rental
This lovely stone cottage is situated in the triangle of the Bastide towns of Monpazier, Beaumont-du-Périgord and Villeréal. It is part of a small farm restoration, comprising of a holiday cottage converted from a stone barn, the original farmhouse, where the property owners (Jackie & Jim) live and a converted tabac barn now used as Jim’s joinery workshop. There is a large covered terrace with built in BBQ attached to the rear of the cottage with direct access to a private 5M x 10M salt water infinity pool.The upstairs of the property has three bedrooms, one with en-suite and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Downstairs there is a large lounge with a central heating wood burner, fully equipped kitchen/dining, walk-in shower room with separate WC , washing machine and sink. Private parking, large garden with panoramic views over the 5 hectares of the property.

Beautiful gite in a spectacular location. Jacqueline and Jim (and Jed!) were great hosts, discreet but readily on hand to answer questions. We’ve had a lovely week, and have left fully relaxed. Hope to return very soon!

We have just spent two wonderful weeks at Jacqueline and Jim’s beautiful gite with our family. Excellent accommodation and the view from the pool is amazing, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing stay at this beautiful cottage. The place was clean, nicely decorated and with all necessary amenities and more. There were dvd’s and games to play on the couple of rainy days we had but the infinity pool was a real treat on sunny days. The pictures do not do justice to the outstanding valley view from the pool area. The place was very quiet and the only sounds disturbing the peace where those of the wind in the trees, the cows and a rooster. Delightful ! We had lunch outdoors every day since there is a shaded covered area outside the kitchen facing the pool. A 13 minutes drive got us to pretty bastides full of charm where small supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants could be found. The hosts were a lovely couple that made us feel welcome. They even treated us with fresh eggs from their chicken. We would go back there in a heartbeat. A very relaxing holiday. Thank you so very much!
