    I stay in City avenue it's excellent hotel and very comfortable room the staff very humble,the best part the have smart plug for HDMI and microphone at desk the hotel very clean and family hotel will come again

    Unpon entry, you can smell the musty environment inside the entrance and lobby. Proceeded to check in, the front desk staff was nice, however once I entered the room, complete disappointment, room was so old with dirty bedsheet, old blistered amenities section and felt disgusted just being in there. Walk right out and went back to the reception. The staff immediately proposed that I look at another upgraded room. After I viewed and swapped, I found out the the toilet now had difficulty to flush and worked after persuasion. I went back to reception and advised I cannot stay and would like to have a refund. Despite they completely falsely advertised the room and lack of basic hygiene, they refused to provide a refund. I had to book another hotel for my stay out of pocket as no amount of money will make me stay one more minute in that place. Tried to request a refund even though booking platform Agoda and property refused despite they failed from their end. Complete lack of integrity. Will report further once back from stay in UAE as this should not be allowed to happen.
