About this villa rental
LOCATION
This wonderful villa is set on the hills of Polignano a Mare and offers both from the outside and from inside an amazing view on the beautiful Adriatic SEA. The villa was not born as a holiday home, and therefore preserves all the authenticity of a real Apulian COUNTRY house, among olive trees, fruit trees. The care for the typical details of a private house and the use of native materials, enhance the natural beauty of the place. On this hill of Polignano, the summer heat is mitigated by a pleasant breeze, making pleasant the stay even in the most torrid periods.
FACILITIES
The house has every comfort: saltwater swimming POOL (chlorine-free and with all the advantages of salt water), mosquito nets, AIR CONDITIONING, WIFI, covered parking.
ROOMS & SPACE
The main building has 2 BEDROOMS (the master bedroom and a double room) and a large living room. Each room is light and airy. A bathroom with a shower and wonderful kitchen complete the internal area.
The villa has a DEPENDANCE that allows to host up to 4 people. Consisting of a kitchen, a bathroom and 2 BEDROOMS (a master bedroom and a double room with a bunk bed) this dependance is totally independent.
Outside, there are two VERANDAS with large tables and a BARBECUE area, perfect for outdoor lunches and dinners with family and friends. The outdoor POOL (open from May 1st to September 30th) with a sunbathing area featuring loungers and an outdoor shower invites you to cool off on warm summer days.
The villa’s strategic location, just 3.5 km from the town, offers easy access to both the sea and the center of Polignano a Mare. You can explore the town’s breathtaking cliffs and marvelous sea caves, while also discovering the beauty of the Apulian region.

the property is exquisite with meticulous grounds and a gorgeous salt water pool. The house is very comfortable with large bathrooms and nice beds and bedding. The outdoor living space is lovely and large with a wood fire stove outside. Bring bug spray and the bees are a nuisance but you’re in the beautiful country in the middle of an olive orchard. the kitchen could be better equipped for cooking dinners but overall the house is fantastic and very clean. It has ocean views and is conveniently located near the center of Polignano. The beaches are crammed and rocky but gorgeous. Il Terrazza is a great restaurant. you need a car here. We drove easily to Ostuni which was gorgeous and Monopoli which is also gorgeous in the old city. The house holds 4 upstairs and 4 downstairs in a separate unit; it has 2 queens upstairs and a queen and a set of bunks downstairs. I highly recommend this home!

My family loved this property! The kids didn't leave the pool for days and they loved roaming around the grounds exploring the plants and fruit trees. Since it was entirely gated and secluded they could wander freely (with sunscreen!) The living space was efficient, comfortable, and super clean. The hosts were charming, informative, and very helpful. The location is remote and we didn't have a car, but the taxi and riscio service was dependable and economical for what we were doing. We stayed 4 days and wanted to just chill. Going into town in the evening was pretty much all we wanted to do so scheduling a riscio worked well for us and provided a lot of fun for us all. I also totally appreciated all the recycling containers were clearly marked and convenient. It helped us maintain standards of the area easily. As a family this was a highlight of our 23 day stay in Italy and we all want to come back. Just a note if you can stop at a grocery store before arriving at the villa, this was the only thing I would have done differently. Also having and being familiar with WhatsApp and Google maps is super helpful. This place will be one we will remember as a perfect paradise for us. Grazie mille Grisella and Emanuella!

Positves: The outside grounds, pool area is very beautiful and relaxing, the highlight of the property. The check-in process was prompt and efficient.
The home itself is quite nice, with a very pretty view of the coastline from the living room. The bedrooms are comfortable, with lots of storage space.
Nuteral: The kitchen is sparsely supplied, cheap quality cutlery and utensils. A few grams of salt and black pepper were the kitchen supplies. The living room is poorly furnished with a pull out couch and some plastic chairs covered with a layer of dust; not very suited to relaxing in
Negative: The day after our arrival I was contacted by the hosts, requesting my personal tax number (social security number.) I thought this was an error by the hosts. When I queried the request I was told, “according to Italian law” it was mandatory for me to supply my tax id number, so they could issue me an invoice. I advised the host that under no circumstances would I provided my tax number. My Social Security number, combined with the hosts having my passport information home address, would expose me all kinds of identity fraud. The next day the hosts relented in requesting this information. Stating, non EU resident were exempt from this “law.” Note: I was never issued any invoice by the hosts. Hosts should NEVER made demands of this nature. So please be aware of this dubious tactic. Due space limitations, I can’t advise of the comical 2 roll limit on providing toilet paper to guests.
