If you are in need of a place to stay close to New Orleans, in the Slidell area or even just over the Mississippi border for work or pleasure with all amenities furnished for your comfort, this may be the place for you. NOTE; ONLY AVAILABLE FOR LONGER TERM RENTALS. This luxurious condo awaits your arrival. A 3 bed/2 bath, 1500 sq ft condo with waterfront access literally at your back door. Comes with your own boat slip in the Marina. Offers 3 spacious sleeping areas. Master Bedroom with Kingsize bed downstairs, 2nd Bedroom with Queensize bed upstairs, and an extra large Daybed with trundle which sleeps 2 or more ( if they are children) in upstairs loft. Comfortably sleeps 6 people, but can accommodate more as there are also inflatable mattresses & large sofas for additional sleeping accommodations. Beautiful views of the bayou from the living room, upstairs loft, kitchen and dining room. Water access leads to Lake Ponchartrain after a lazy ride down a scenic bayou. Located only five minutes from the center of town, 20 minutes from casinos and beaches on the Gulf coast, 2 miles from renowned bicycle path Tammany Trace, 35 minutes to New Orleans and so much more. Swim, fish, crab off the pier right at your backdoor. If you come here , you will want to come back again and again. Excellent Location with the best of both worlds, peaceful serenity & proximity to everything!!!

The owner was very accommodating for my situation, I sold my house and had to move within a few days. The house is not a true 3 bedroom and the laundry room is upstairs, after 5 knee surgeries I can’t do that many stairs so my son had to do the laundry. The dryer takes about 3 cycles to fully dry clothes. The air condition went out after the first night and the owner has a home warranty company that wasn’t coming for 5 days, thankfully my husband works in the industry and got it back up. No way I’m going 5 days in a hot house in Louisiana when it’s already summer. My 15 year old was threatened by neighbors with a lawsuit for throwing a practice (much softer) softball around outside, nowhere close to cars.

Once again, the condo was everything we hoped it would be. This was our second time staying at this property and we were, as before, very happy with our visit. The condo is located in a nice neighborhood and is right on the bayou. The condo is tastefully decorated, very clean and well furnished. There is plenty of storage room and the washer and dryer is a huge plus. Most importantly, any and all concerns or issues we may have had were promptly addressed by the owner, Cynthia. She is very assessable and friendly, a pleasure to talk with. We were very comfortable and would highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed watching the turtles and ducks . Very quite and peaceful safe place . Tell everyone it was great place.

Overall, we had an ok stay at this condo.
Pros: Beautiful waterfront setting, owner was welcoming and left us a king cake. Pretty good location for accessing downtown Slidell, although you have to wind through the neighborhood for quite a distance to get in and out.
Cons: The 3rd "bedroom" is a loft with a twin daybed and no privacy. The sheets in this daybed had not been changed prior to our arrival. The water also had a very strong sulfur smell and we had to purchase bottled water to drink (though this is likely the situation throughout the city, for whoever is on the same water system).
