The Marissa Resort is located on a large site directly on Lower Saxony's second largest lake, the Dümmer. Being close to nature and sustainability are among the resort's core values, which is clearly reflected in the architecture and design. You can look forward to a high standard in all respects.
A skate park, various playgrounds, a low ropes course and jogging routes by the water await you on the site. At the large sandy beach, the centrepiece of life in the park, you are invited to swim, play or laze around at any time. Wir sind sehr beeindruckt von dem teilweise noch im Entstehen begriffenen Urlaubs-Komplex direkt am Ufer des Dümmer Sees. Umbuchungen des ursprünglichen Dänemark-Urlaubs, Vorkontakte mit den sehr netten und liebenswürdigen Kolleginnen des Parks sowie der Check In als auch der Check Out waren absolut gästeorientiert, hilfreich und zuvorkommend.
Die Lage ist wirklich schön, wir hatten Apartments mit Seeblick und dazu sehr schönes Wetter. Die Lage für Besuche der umliegenden Städte wie Osnabrück, Cloppenburg, Oldenburg (wir sind auch bis Münster gefahren) ist sehr gut - die Anbindung mit gut ausgebauten Bundesstraßen und wenigen Abschnitten Autobahn auch sehr leicht zu erreichen. Zu empfehlen ist der Besuch in Kalkriese zur Besichtigung des Ortes und des Museums der Varusschlacht, nur 20 min mit dem Auto entfernt.
Am Park wird der südliche Teil ausgebaut, aber da wir tagsüber unterwegs waren, hat uns das in keiner Weise gestört.
An jedem Gebäude, Apartmenthaus wie Ferienhaus, gibt es zugewiesene PKW-Stellplätze. Wer die teilweisen langen Wege zu den Parkplätzen in anderen Ferienparks kennt, weiß das zu schätzen. Restaurant mit großer Seeterrasse, große See-Sauna (leider wegen Corona im Mai noch gesperrt) und schöne Wanderwege um den See, Boots- und Fahrradverleih, Surfschule, Abenteuer-Minigolfplatz und vieles mehr in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Besonders erwähnenswert finden wir die hohe Qualität der Einrichtung in den Häusern und Apartments, sehr gute Geräte, Geschirr und Möbel. Jede Wohneinheit hat z.B. einen Weber-Elektrogrill, leise Geschirrspüler sind Standard, das Steingut-Geschirr ist sehr schön, die Betten haben eine hohe Qualität - das hat uns tatsächlich überrascht, weil nicht überall so zu erleben.
