Higuera de las Dueñas is a small village situated in the south of the province of Ávila, bordering with its neighbour Toledo and at the foot of the Gredos Mountains. Only 85 km from Madrid and the ideal place for the visitor to relax and escape from the routine of everyday life, as well as offering the chance to enjoy nature at its best with a wide variety of outdoor activities.
El Ricón de Anter offers the visitor the perfect accommodation to spend a few days in this charming little village with a population of only 400 people.
The two houses can be rented either individually or together and are perfectly equipped both for the summer and winter months.

La casa es muy agradable y acogedora, así como Marcos, su dueño.
Sobre el pueblo, he de decir que nos decepcionó un poco. Buscábamos hacer algo de senderismo y resultó que aunque hay algunas rutas, y en la casa había un plano, a la hora de encontrar las rutas fue todo un reto, pues preguntando a la gente del pueblo como llegar, no las conocían, no estaban indicadas por ningún sitio, solo preguntando a unos chavales conseguimos llegar a las Hoyas, una zona con unas pozas de agua corriente, pero sucia y maloliente, y cerca un puente (mini) romano, que encontramos por casualidad, después de haberlo buscado, sin indicación ninguna y apenas casi escondido entre zarzas y matorrales. Visto el éxito, ni intentamos llegar a la ",Piedra Escrita", pues no era plan andar 10km y que los dueños de la propiedad en la que se encuentra no nos dejaran entrar.
Muy bonitas las vistas a la sierra, pero el cómo acceder: otro enigma. Menos mal que lo que más deseábamos era recuperar la compañía de amigos ,y en eso, la casa cumplió con sobras las expectativas

Preciosa casa, muy limpia y cómoda, y el detalle de tener la casa con el aire acondicionado puesto a la llegada, nos gustó mucho.
