Big lawn, shady trees for lounging under, listening to the surf
Go for sunset (or sunrise!) walks along beach
Walk around the Southern headland, Opera point, (when tide is out) into the harbour then back to the main beach
Take the track to New Chums Beach

Wheelchair access to house and separate bathroom with full size bath (ask owner for more details)
Easy walk to shop, with all the essentials including petrol
Four minutes drive to harbour boat ramp
Matarangi Golf Course is 15 mins East and the Coromandel Course 20 mins West
There are restaurants and cafes at Matarangi, Kuaotunu, Whitianga and Coromandel
External cell phone antenna (Yagi type). Gives a consistently good signal. Especially useful for T-sticks, Vodems, skyping... Points at Telecom and Vodafone towers.

Stairs can be blocked off at top for small children,
Sofa-bed in lounge comfortable for 1 person.

Whangapoua is beautiful and amazing so pretty hard to have a bad experience here.
Property is cute but pretty tired
As it’s an A frame it can run very hot so an aircon or plenty of fans are needed which it currently doesn’t have.
Downstairs bed is a joke ended up sleeping on a mattress on the floor
Scaffolding up out back which meant we couldn’t get out the back door or use deck only found out about this on the day we turned up and no discount offered which was disappointing
Overall an ok experience which wouldn’t take much money to make really great
$$$$
