This was an absolutely beautiful property and perfect for our 70th birthday celebration. The house was immaculate and had all the amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen so we could spend the evening relaxing after a fun day of wine tasting. The view was inspiring and a great way to start your day over breakfast around an amazing dining room table. We all agreed that we would stay here again.

Fantastic property with amazing views

Before this visit I’d never heard of forestville, now I wish I lived there. The house is immaculate, the kitchen a chefs dream, the views are 360 degrees from the house of vineyards, mountains and morning coastal fog. You are close to healdsburg, a wonderful hike path to Sebastopol, Pinot noir country but settled into a sleet paced rural setting. Great owner communications and responsiveness. A beautiful home. Was sorry to leave.

Perfect property for 3 to 4 couples visiting wine country. Home is in great condition, everything you need. Great location with beautiful views. Owner was easy to communicate with and prompt with responses. Very helpful with great recommendations. Highly recommend!

My husband and I rented this beautiful renovated farmhouse for 3 weeks. We felt very comfortable, everything was clean and all amenities were at our fingertips! The owners provided us with detailed instructions concerning the house and a list of favorite wineries, restaurants, etc. The property is lovely - many places to sit outside and enjoy the view including the gorgeous pool and spa. We found it to be a great jumping off point to many hiking trails, a paved biking trail, wineries, the coast and Healdsburg. We hope to return some day soon!

We are pushing back from the gait at San Francisco Airport and we are all sad to be leaving. There are 6 adults in our party and we all feel the same. The purpose of our trip was to explore wine country of Sonoma County. However, after the first day we found ourselves looking at the clock and wanting to return to Jennifer’s beautiful home, perched on its nest above the rolling vineyards. Jennifer, thank you for being a wonderful host and allowing us to enjoy your amazing home. We loved the well stocked kitchen, in fact we opted to cook all our meals in and enjoyed exploring the garden to see what we could harvest for dinner! The outside of your home was just as magnificent as the inside; the pool and hot tub were key elements that promoted our relaxation and allowed us to decompress from our daily routines . We also loved the chilly quiet mornings which allowed us to do our HIIT workouts on pool deck! Found the yoga mats, they came in handy! Location was key, we were close to golf courses, vineyards, and shopping. In addition, your home was by far the cleanest property we have ever stayed at! Whoever wrote the review and suggested that you should declutter your home has no idea what they are talking about! It was those little things that made us feel like we were home. We often do not stay in a place twice but we definitely will book your place again when we return to explore more of Sonoma. This home is definitely for families and friends but not sure if I would bring small children that didn’t know how to swim and were mobile since the pool and hot tub are not secured with a fence. And if you would make that change then you would detract from your amazing views of the valley. Thanks again, Pam

The house is in an excellent location and the views are amazing. The house has too much stuff including furniture and decorations. The kitchen is very well equipped and I loved it but the pantry and all shelves were completely full so my food had to be stored on the countertop. Bed linens need to be updated in every room. The best thing the owner could do is to get rid of clutter.

Second time we’ve stayed in this lovey farmhouse. Incredible space that gives three generations of family space to come together and also have quiet respites. The photos don’t do the views justice and everything about the property is thoughtful. Great hosts and can’t wait to come back for a third stay.

If you are considering renting this property and are on the fence, do it!! You will be beyond impressed and happy with your choice. The views from the property are not given justice in the online listing photos. They are more expensive and more scenic than the listing shows. There is everything in the house that you would ever need! The kitchen is well stocked, the TV room has a ton of games, there are pool noodles and water guns, outside games like ping-pong and spike ball! It’s within 5 to 10 minute driving of some absolute gorgeous wineries with delicious wine tastings. On one of the days we rented we had a very special family celebration on the property. We were able to bring in a florist, a photographer and a caterer and all vendors were stunned by the beauty of the home and the views. I am so incredibly grateful for Jennifer and her great communication and making us feel welcome and answering all of our silly questions around getting the music speakers to work and getting the pool settings just right. This home will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you Jennifer!

One of the loveliest vacations we’ve ever had as a family. Jenn couldn’t have been lovelier. The house has absolutely everything you need in exactly the place you need it. Beautiful views and great vibes. Highest recommendation.

Our group of 8 stayed here for a few days in the fall. The property exceeded our expectations! Very spacious, clean, fully stocked pantry, and unbelievable views. Great location for visiting Healdsburg vineyards. Highly recommend this property!

Thanks Jennifer for allowing us to stay at this beautiful house! We were 4 couples and we had a great time. The house is definitely incredible, lots of open spaces to share, including a fully equipped kitchen and bedrooms/bathrooms. Can't say enough things on the outdoor area... those sunset views over the valley are priceless.! The ride to downtown Healdsburg isn't bad, but it is a good 20 minutes ride. Keep in mind that getting Ubers in that area could be challenging, especially during the weekends.

Everything about this house is top notch. The pictures are great and they still don’t do it justice on how nicely designed and decorated the house is and how great the views are. The owners were very responsive on helping us find some things. We will definitely come back!

My husband, baby boy, and I spent 3 unforgettable weeks at Jennifer's house in Forestville. The house is picture perfect (even better than you imagine from the photos) and the views are jaw dropping. Every morning we could enjoy the sunrise looking out over rolling hills from the master bedroom and end every day with sundowners on the back deck. The location was phenomenal too, enabling us to spend days exploring the coast (only 30 mins away) along with everything the Russian River Valley has to offer. We are already dreaming of returning!

We loved our stay at the modern farmhouse! The house is so inviting and is equipped with everything you could possibly need. There are so many different outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the gorgeous views. The pool and hot tub just make it that much better!

This house is extraordinary and it, along with Jennifer, provided the perfect vacation for our family before our daughters go off to college this fall. As others have written, the pictures do not do the house justice. It is an ideal setting, secluded with the land and space to feel like you're getting away but close so many things to do and see. Waking up to the valley view with a slight chill in the air each morning was like heaven. The pool provides the great way too cool off in the heat of the afternoon and we made it a nightly thing to warm up in the spa, looking out at the stars and having a chance to talk. We tried but we could not think of anything the house doesn't have. Our girls baked cookies and a pie, all courtesy of the fully stocked kitchen. We used the outdoor grill for many meals. The decor is so warm and comfortable that you immediately feel at home, with so many different places inside and out to eat or play a game or watch a movie or take a nap. Jennifer is a wonderful host, she provided everything we needed and did not flinch when we accidentally set off the fire alarm when we used the range grill. I could not recommend this house more highly and we hope to return in the very near future.

We came to Jennifer's house for a multi-generational vacation. The views are INCREDIBLE, so much better in person than in pictures. The house is exactly as pictured, so charmingly decorated and unique. I appreciated that the house felt lived in-- I was able to find small things we happened to need, like tape and a stapler! We used the pool almost every day and appreciated the pool noodles and pool inflatables provided. When we weren't outside, we relaxed in the lovely and spacious sitting room, which to my surprise had an electronic piano! The kitchen was well stocked with various kitchen tools, and plenty of silverware, glasses, and dishes. It was hot while we were staying at the house and the A/C upstairs is not very strong, but it cooled down nicely in the evening. Jennifer was very responsive and helpful during our stay and we loved all her local recommendations! We had such a lovely time on this truly special property-- I can't wait to come back!

A spectacular and beautifully designed property. Feels like a real home, not a vacation rental. Very well furnished for cooks. The views are stunning, the location is perfect. For those who know northern California weather, this is a sweet spot that is slightly cooler than the Sonoma valley floor, but out of the coastal fog belt (mostly). We plan to come back.

We had an amazing timing staying at this gorgeous home. The chef’s kitchen was completely stocked with everything you would need. Great boards for a charcuterie and quality wine glass!!! The sunsets were gorgeous sitting on the patio and the living room was great for relaxing at night. The beautiful chef’s kitchen and dining area is open and stunning views from every angle. Comfortable beds, updated clean bathrooms, made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The pictures do not do this home justice, several seating areas for large gatherings or space for everyone. Blankets and several other touches around the home. The host clearly knows how to make this a special place that you will not forget. We will back again.

Our family used this house for a reunion once everyone was vaccinated. The house was large enough that five adults could work remotely online and not be disturbing each other. When not working, we used the large kitchen to cook meals and the beautiful outside space for relaxing. The pool was perfect for cooling off on warm days. Host was very responsive to questions that we had.

Wonderfully designed property on a hilltop with spectacular views. Our family had its first post vaccine retreat and all ages were able to gather comfortably and spend a full week together relaxing in this thoughtfully designed property. All ages from 3 to 73 enjoyed the home, pool and porch. The kitchen is generously appointed with more than everything you can think of needing. The pool is possibly one of the nicest you’ll ever see. The location is no more than 30 minutes away from just about everything in Sonoma. Host was very responsive to any questions we had. Wish we could have stayed longer and and can’t wait to plan another stay again.

We loved this house. The pictures are accurate and yet the house is even better! The views were spectacular. It was so lovely to sit and watch the stunning sunrises and sunsets. The layout provided different places for us to go and sit when we wanted space but also had room for us to hang out together. The house was really well equipped and the owner provided quick responses to any questions we had. We can't wait to come back and stay again!

Great stay at this updated Russian River wine country getaway! This easy-breezy (stylish in an unstuffy way) farm-house inspired property is perched up and off the road with jaw-dropping countryside and vineyard views off the back of the house. The pool is large, and there are many outdoor spaces to enjoy as a group or on your own for peace and quiet. In my mind, especially given COVID times, one of the best features is the fact there are 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (every couple can have their own, although they are not all en suite) and the really large indoor and outdoor dining tables which easily seat 12 people. The indoor dining table/kitchen is wonderful because it is surrounded on 3 sides by 4 French doors which, when opened, allow breezes to blow right through the dining room. It's liking dining outdoors from an air flow perspective, but you're inside. Loved it! Had a small glitch with the door upon arrival, but the owner was very responsive and we worked it out no problem. I highly recommend this wonderful escape.

What a delightful home away from home. The expansive views through myriad windows were breathtaking, only to be outdone by the view from the outdoor patio and pool area. Kitchen - everything a gourmet cook would need and then some. Beautifully decorated - kitchen and grand dining table the main feature of the home. A favourite restaurant in Forestville (Backyard) and Graton (Willowwood?) so close, plus Healdsburg nearby beats anything in Sonoma or Napa. Kayaking, biking, hiking, redwoods and coastal views within half hour - location can’t be beat. Jennifer was a great communicator and provided many local suggestions. We will come back. Thanks for a memorable visit.

This amazing house was perfect for a weekend away in the heart of wine country. The views were worth the trip alone. Close to vineyards. The house was amazing, clean, spacious and fit our group perfectly. Jennifer was very receptive and communicated quickly. We will return.
