Petit Bijou - Beach apartment III

Good location - google maps shows 1.3km to the beach (going around, with the use of highway overpass), but there is a underpass crossing 50m from the apartment - so the distance is in fact ~600-700m. Nice, clean and modern room with good amenities - like fridge, many dishes, microwave with grill - good enough for frozen pizza or lasagna ;), nespresso coffee machine, toaster, iron etc. Very nice terrace with washing machine and a place to leave wet clothes. Very good price/quality ratio - if we take into account that the Castelldefels is unfortunately a bit overpriced and everything else is expensive, maybe because there is Lionel Messi and Neymar's house in the city. Clean and fully working bathroom, good shower with proper water pressure. Very comfy bed! Felt like at home :) Photos in the offer matches reality! Estefania and Luciana are very friendly and helpful - big kudos to them! :)

Air conditioning fells bad, the vent was fluctuating and there was not enough of cold air produced - we had minimum of 25 °C at the morning - after a whole night blowing with maximum (with fluctuations ;)) speed at 21 °C! And regularly there was like 27-28 °C in the room - definitely too much to rest properly or to cook food. Of course balcony doors were closed. Good that we had many cold beverages in the fridge ;) Apartment has 25-30m2 at max - but there is a big terrace, so maybe with it the place meets described 55m2... Would be good to notice that properly, in order to not confuse guest in the future. We had problem with one ceiling light bulb (blinking), reported right after arrival, but never repaired during our stay. We disconnected it from the power to save nerves. The neighborhood was a little suspicious at the first look - we didn't had any strange situations but keep in mind that this is an apartment in the middle of block of many living places (+ there were many trashes nearby so we had many thoughts about the surroundings). But all was good in the end and nothing to worry about. The nearest shop is a little far, without a car/taxi it will be difficult to bring the groceries into the apartment (+ second floor, without lift). We had a car, but plz take that into account. There is a high speed, noisy street right below the block - be aware if you are noise sensitive (we are not). To sum up: when airco and light bulb will be fixed (+ description rewritten), it is a good option to have a place to stay in this city!

The location was near Gimeno tennis which was what I liked. It is not very near the shops but close to the beach. It is 20 mins fast walk to train station. It was very clean but very small and I felt there could have been more extra touches to help settle in.

No bin bags, warmer- the heater did not work too well. It is small and simple and good for a few days.

it had all the cooking needs, but no oven. so it was quiet efficient and cute

the floor was always cold even with the heater on. no Netflix on TV. and the location was a bit far from everything
