The holiday home "Le Gwez" is located in a very quiet area situated at 1.8 km in the south of Matignon. The beaches (6 km) can easily be reached by car or by bike. The house was renovated in 2018 and 2023 (new living room). The property has a large enclosed garden (1200 sqm). The house has a living room, a kitchen, a dining room and 2 bedrooms: one room with a double bed (140 x 190) ans one room with two single beds (90x190 ans 100 x 200). The cottage "Le Gwez" is the ideal accommodation for a couple or a small family.
Matignon is a good location to discover the highlights of the Côte d'Emeraude (Emerald Coast). The main attractions of the region are all within a short distance (Saint-Malo, Dinard, Dinan, Cap-Fréhel). If you like, you can also explore the varied coastal paths. In summer, there are water sports facilities in Saint Cast.

Lovely house in a charming setting

The house is really nice and light, with traditional french features like shutters. The conservatory has the sun in time for breakfast and then all day. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and the sofas are comfortable and smart. The wifi was good enough for our gamer son and to stream the football from England The bathroom is lovely with a powerful rain shower and plenty of hot water, and the beds are comfy. It is a 15 min walk into Matignon if you wanted to go in for a meal and a drink, as we did on market day, sitting outside the bar tabac/pizzeria, watching the hustle and bustle of the french buying their local produce. Several beaches within 10 mins drive. Perfect week for us!

Le Gwez - Ländliches Ferienhaus bei Matignon

Wir waren im Juli 2022 zu viert (zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder) mit Hund im Haus. Es war alles da, was wir zum tägliche Leben brauchten, Internet und Tv funktionierten einwandfrei. Das Grundstück ist großzügig geschnitten und komplett umzäunt, was mit Kindern und Hund total klasse ist. In Matignon (ca. 5Min. mit dem Auto) gibt es einen großen Supermarkt, in dem man wirklich alles bekommt, was man benötigt. Die Cote d´Émeraude ist wundervoll, unser Urlaub war fantastisch. (..Marie Annick ist ein super lieber Mensch;-) ..) Fazit: Wir kommen wieder!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, belle propriété avec de grands espaces, endroit très calme et agréable. Commerces et plages à proximité, 10 minutes environ en voiture. Nous avons visité Saint cast guildo, le cap frehel, les plages sont grandes et très propres. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et a toujours répondu à nos attentes. Le prix est correct et nôtre petit chien s'est régalé dans le grand terrain clôturé et sécurisé.

Trotz ruhiger Lage ist das schöne Ferienhaus nicht weit entfernt von zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Stränden Sehr schönes und sauberes Haus mit Allem was man braucht, vor Allem für Hundebesitzer sehr angenehm, da das Grundstück recht groß und nicht einsehbar ist.

La maison est bien agencée, bien équipée, avec linge et ménage compris et très appréciable. La véranda est particulièrement agréable. Le jardin, bien arboré, clos et sans vis à vis, a été très apprécié par nos chiens et nous même. Un petit bémol, nos deux petits chiens ont réussis à trouver des passages à travers le grillage. La localisation permet de visiter de beaux sites des cotes d'Armor. Le calme nous a permis de se detendre et de nous ressourcer. Nous gardons cette adresse dans nos tablettes.

Accueil pas très chaleureux, problème de propreté , poussière, toiles d araignées, mauvaise odeur dans la véranda et odeur pénible dehors et beaucoup de mouches dans la maison sûrement dû à l élevage de cochons qui se trouve à côté. Dommage car la maison est grande, bien agencé, le jardin clôturé est très agréable.

Netjes en goed verzorgd, zeker voor deze prijs. Alles erop en eraan, met een hele fijne douche. De buurvrouw zorgt voor het inchecken, is meteen ter plekke, spreekt alleen Frans. Meneer Bonfils (de verhuurder) spreekt goed Duits, wel zo handig! Typisch Franse landelijke omgeving, mooie dorpjes. In het nabijgelegen Matignon kun je goed eten, grote supermarkt. Tip voor je navigatie: instellen op plaats Matignon. Soms viel de WiFi even uit, beetje jammer, maar ja het is vakantie😉?. Al met al is het goed toeven hier. Jammer dat als je Home Away belt op een telefoonnummer in Amsterdam, je alleen in het Engels met een vet Frans accent wordt aangesproken. Dat mag beter.

3* sont à moitié justifié, je devrais noter plus car la maison est bien mais les canapés ont des protections rouge remplies de poils de chien et il est impossible de s'y détendre tellement l'odeur est imprégnée, il y a un manque d'hygiène à ce niveau, sinon l'ensemble mérite 5* c’est dommage....

Wir haben im September 3 Wochen Urlaub im Ferienhaus verbracht. Genügend Platz für 4 Personen. Wir waren allerdings nur zu zweit mit unserem Hund. Vollständig ausgestattet. Gästeinformation (wichtige Adressen/Einkaufsmöglichkeiten) liegen auf.Reibungslose Schlüsselübergabe wie vereinbart. Schönes, gepflegtes Grundstück. Das Auto konnten wir unmittelbar beim Haus vor der Garage parken. Unser Hund und wir haben uns über den eingezäunten Garten gefreut. Hatten auch Besuch von den Nachbarhunden. Die Lage des Hauses ist ruhig, ländlich und ist ein idealer Ausgangsort für Ausflüge. Ein super Service durch den Vermieter - er hat uns die deutschen Fernsehsender eingestellt. WLAN funktionierte auch perfekt. Eine Garderobe im Eingangsbereich für Oberkleidung wäre angenehm gewesen. Geschirr und Besteck haben wir vor Benutzung in den Geschirrspüler gegeben. Ein schöner Urlaub bei herrlichem Wetter in einem wirklich empfehlenswerten Ferienhaus. Danke.

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in der Bretagne. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, auch das WLAN funktionierte problemlos und gut. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter und Schlüsselübergabe verlief hervorragend und reibungslos. Lediglich einige Fliegen im Haus waren lästig, vielleicht könnten hier Fliegengitter vor den Fenstern und Türen Abhilfe schaffen. Hilfreich wäre auch eine Adressauflistung von Ärzten o.ä. in der näheren Umgebung für Notfälle.
