About this cottage rental
The Glicine is a studio apt, 45 sq meters, with fully equipped bathroom with cubicle shower, basin, wc There is a fully equipped area with fridge, hob and antique furniture.
Glicine was an old barn and old furnace. There is a private pergola, which is ideal for dining, with private barbecue and chairs with table.
The Sassi Bianchi farm has 40 hectares of land and is located in the beautiful landscape of the Chianti hills. It is located in a forest complex, a refuge for many wild animals. With a little luck you can come across hares, pheasants, wild boar, roe deer, badgers, coots, mallards, herons, which go to drink in the company pond.
It is located in the center of a triangle whose summits are Volterra, San Gimignano and Colle Val d'Elsa. Hospitality is offered in 4 fully restored and independent 16th century farmhouses, tastefully furnished by the owners with beautiful antique furniture, equipped with all the comforts and heating and equipped kitchens, the bedrooms are all with private bathroom.
At guests' disposal, besides the equipped garden, where it is pleasant to relax, there is a swimming pool, a tennis court and a bowling green. Guests can enjoy relaxing walks along the paths that follow the woods or jogging in the quiet countryside. The proximity of famous art centers such as Florence Siena Pisa offers a valid alternative. The Castelfalfi golf center is 10 km away. The owners (two doctors in medicine, a professor of biological sciences, a veterinarian) offer maps and guides to the guests, but also useful tips to discover the treasures of art and nature. There is no restaurant service, but there are excellent typical restaurants nearby. On request it is possible to have a language teacher, an embroidery teacher, a cook and a waitress. It is ideal for family or cultural groups, having 20 beds.
