Situated on 1.5 acres with over 200 feet of oceanfront, this 2,300 sq ft cottage offers sweeping views, the constant rhythm of the surf, and frequent sightings of seals in nearby Apple Cove.
Inside, the home blends comfort and character with thoughtfully curated seaside details. The layout includes three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and multiple spaces to gather or unwind—including a light-filled sunroom, cozy living room, and a loft games room above the garage.
The home was designed to embrace its setting, with many rooms oriented toward the water—ensuring the ocean is always part of your experience.
While the property feels private and tucked away, it’s ideally located along the Lighthouse Route with easy access to some of the South Shore’s most loved destinations. Cherry Hill Beach is just 1.4 km away, with Rissers Beach and Crescent Beach a short drive beyond. Local favourites such as the Petite Riviere General Store, Osprey's Nest, LaHave Bakery, Ploughman’s Lunch are all nearby as well.
The historic towns of Lunenburg and Mahone Bay—each about 40–50 minutes away—are well worth the scenic coastal drive, offering charming shops, excellent dining, and beautiful harbour views. In season, you may even spot the Bluenose II sailing along the coast.
There are many places to explore in the area, but many guests find that once they arrive, they prefer to simply stay and enjoy the setting.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Mosquitos deterred yard time some but the deck was great. Saw seals playing in ocean and visited lots of coastal towns and beaches. Fun stay!

This is the second year we have stayed here. The house is amazing — well equipped, tastefully decorated and in a stunning location. We love being a bit off the beaten track but within easy reach of stunning beaches and other activities. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone wanting an ocean side getaway.
