Penthouse-Suite am Plöner See

Was hat uns gefallen? Einfach alles. Eine super Anreise, von Hamburg unter einer Stunde. Dann mit dem Aufzug ins Penthouse mit einem unbezahlbaren Ausblick über den See. Sorry bin hier immer noch so beeindruckt. Wir waren mit unserem Kajak dort, Anleger direkt am Objekt. Nun noch einmal zur Unterkunft. Diese ist modern und hochwertig ausgestattet. Der umlaufende Balkon ist vom Wohn-/Esszimmer nach beiden Seiten begehbar. Der Balkon von Wohnzimmer zeigt zum See und ist nach Süden ausgerichtet. Ideal zum Sonnenbaden, auf den Liegen. Es waren zwar nur 4 Übernachtungen, jedoch so erholsam, dass wir es auf jeden Fall wiederholen werden. Wirklich jedem nur zu empfehlen, wer die Chance hat dieses Appartement zu bekommen.

Hier gibt es absolut nichts zu bemängeln. Außer, dass die 4 Tage zu schnell vorüber waren.

Die Lage dirkt am See mit eigenem Badesteg . Tolle, große Dachterrasse. Sehr gute, auch im Detail durchdachte Ausstattung.

Prachtige plek met uitzicht op het meer. Appartement is erg mooi. Goede bedden, alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Heerlijke plek om tot rust te komen. Restaurant van het hotel waar de appartementen bij horen ligt bij het appartement. Heerlijk gegeten.

De wifi was slecht. In de omschrijving staat dat er gratis gebruik kan worden gemaakt van het zwembad maar dat kost 10 euro pp per dag. Dat viel erg tegen. In de omgeving is niet zoveel te doen.

We chose this apartment for its stunning views, limited number of neighbours (being a penthouse), and the excellent nearby opportunities for outdoor activities including hiking, swimming, and watersports. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, with an interior clearly styled by someone with a keen eye for design and a fondness for a calm, creamy colour palette. The kitchen met most of our needs, and we found the bed comfortably firm. The hosts had put together a welcome folder for their guests, what seemed to include with written instructions and guidance for German-speaking guests, alongside a generous selection of brochures highlighting local attractions in the region. All in German. A special shout out to the hosts flexible about the key collection and kindly helping us when we couldn’t locate the hotel reception, even arranging for the hotel staff to come find us! One element that came as a surprise, however, was that the apartment is located within a hotel complex. At least some of the neighbouring apartments appeared to function as standard hotel rooms. This setup offers guests the option to enjoy meals and drinks in the hotel’s restaurant, book treatments at the spa, and experience the vibrant atmosphere of family holidays, visiting pets, and even birthday receptions held in the communal lakeside areas. In other words, a blend of private apartment living with the bustle of a hotel environment—something worth being aware of depending on one’s preference for tranquillity or a livelier setting.

During our stay, we noticed that most of our neighbouring guests were smokers. This included the apartment next door, those beneath us, and occasionally others enjoying their balconies. As non-smokers—especially coming from countries where smoking is less prevalent—we found the smell of cigarette smoke and vaping rather intrusive, particularly when trying to relax and enjoy the view we have come for on the terrace or airing out the flat with windows and doors open. The sitting room itself is oriented towards the television rather than the beautiful lake views, so we couldn't fully retreat indoors to enjoy the scenery either. We also came to realise that the apartment isn’t truly a penthouse, as we occasionally heard children playing in what appeared to be a room above us. All in all, the apartment has much to offer in terms of location and design. But for those sensitive to smoke or seeking complete privacy and quiet, it's worth considering these aspects. If you're a smoker or don't mind the presence of it, this place could indeed feel like paradise.
