Établissement ultra central au dessus de Snell sport devant le Majestic avec un parking gratuit et une jolie surface. Petit balcon ensoleillé avec une vue incroyable sur le Mont Blanc et l’aiguille du midi.

Devoir récupérer les clés à 10 min à pied de l’appartement et l’escape Game pour accéder au parking pourtant à côté de celui de l’Outa…Heureusement que les chamoniards sont très serviables ! La place est réservée mais un peu coincée dans un coin de l’immeuble, il faut manœuvrer avec douceur et laisser les skis dans la voiture, car pas d’espace dédié.

I liked that the property was in the centre of Chamonix, which made it very accessible to the Main Street, supermarkets and restaurants. This is particularly ideal on rainy days as it means less walking. The main attractions ie cable cars, alpine coaster, and bus stops were pretty close by. The kitchen and equipment were excellent. I really can’t fault this. We decided to make use of the kitchen and cook stew. The view from the property was pretty spectacular. It was also surprisingly warm, and sound-proofed from the outside street.

So, first impressions are important. Prior to our arrival, we got in touch about an iron/ironing board (5 days before arrival) and were told that there wasn’t one. We asked if it would be possible to accommodate this request to which they replied no. This made it fairly obvious that the transaction had no personal touches and was purely business. Check-in/out is fairly unique in that keys MUST be returned at check out time, which is annoying as the location where you collect and drop off keys are within 10-12 minutes walking distance of the apartment. We were arriving late at night, and it was raining, and so prior to this, I asked if it was possible for a more convenient way to check in, to which they replied no; the following day. . Upon check out, it was raining again and so I asked if we could extend the check out time (originally 10:00) to which they said “10:30” but the keys must be returned at that time and so we would be leaving at 10:15, which didn’t make any sense. Waste of time. I noted on the previous review that someone complained about the bathroom and lack of a curtain to prevent flooding. I’m not surprised that this was ignored given that they’re not interested in being helpful. The bathroom is outdated, and due to the shower issue it made things less than ideal. It is also bizarre that you’re not allowed to adjust the heating, something about extortionate electric fees. It wasn’t possible to do this anyway as they’ve removed the controller. Electricity costs a fraction of the price compared to back home. I found used tissues underneath the sofa bed as well.
