El Pelícano, a tropical-rustic houseboat, full of history, is docked at a pier with a privileged bay view. Enjoy the tropical sea breeze experience at the Puerto Real Fishing Village. This place is great for retiring in peace for a few days, and very close to town and natural attractions of Cabo Rojo. Scuba diving, snorkeling services, and water taxi are available at the pier. Feel at home the way the Hernández Family does during their vacations since 1984. Enjoy the REAL COASTAL lifestyle.

Check in was a breeze and the boat and surroundings are beautiful and mostly serene. Dont hesitate to get the fresh fish from next door at the marina! The area is very authentic to Puerto Rico, nothing fancy but thats how we like it. If your looking for all the comforts of home this may not be for you but if your looking for an authentic experience it will be perfect! The host was very reachable and took care of a couple issues we had while there promptly.

First, if you are looking for beachfront...this one isn’t for you. If you are looking for a place to relax and stare at the water, the sailboats, watch stars at night, spend time with family and friends...then you found it.
The town of Puerto Real has everything you need restaurants, grocery stores, bars, friendly neighborhood.
If you want beach time, you can drive to nearby Buyé, Joyuda, Playa Azul and others.
For breakfast, go to the bakery 1.5 miles NW from the houseboat.
The house has everything you need to relax. No luxuries, just the essentials for a great relaxed vacation.
