About this house rental
This is a large lakefront house which accommodates multiple families. It has been a part of numerous family gatherings from the U.S. and abroad, creating fond memories and renewing old acquaintances. The home sleeps 12 comfortably in beds and has accommodated up to 22 with the use of air mattresses (bring your own!)

The first floor has the following:
1. large screened/window wrap around porch with seating area, ping pong table and basketball arcade game.
2. Arcade room with Galaga & Golden Tee.
3. fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker (Keurig and traditional... bring your own coffee), pantry and washer/dryer.
4. dining room with 9' trestle table.
5. large living room with pool table, full size sofa, loveseat and smart TV with Fubo for local sports (Fubo to be discontinued 1/26).
6. sun room with beautiful view of Lake Erie, full size couch, large stuffed chair and smart TV.
7. half bath (what can you say about a half bath??).

1. 4 spacious bedrooms (three with views of the lake); extra large master bedroom features a queen size canopy bed, TV and sitting area; two bedrooms with queen beds; one bedroom with queen bed + twin bunk bed.

1. 2 bedrooms; one large bedroom with queen bed and room for air mattresses; and one large lake view bedroom with queen bed and room for air mattresses. *** Please bring your own air mattresses***

1. detached 2 car garage with driveway.
2. off street parking for 4 cars.
3. an empty lot for up to 8 cars and boats. RVs/campers are unfortunately not aloud by city ordinance.

2. a portable fire pit with chairs for night time gatherings. Firewood is provided free of charge!

Cedar Point is only 10 minutes away and the Lake Erie Islands can be viewed from the gazebo. The neighborhood features a park that includes a basketball court, playground equipment, a small beach and a pier for fishing and swimming. Visit the Lake Erie Islands, winerys, go charter fishing, rent a boat or jet ski, golf, eat at the many quality restaurants, swim at beautiful Nickelplate beach or Huron park.

Our family of 10 had a great experience in this house. That huge table seated all of us comfortably. The place was immaculately clean. There were plenty of towels which almost never happens. The house has great character and be sure your little ones find the "secret" room on the second floor. We cook almost all of our meals and there were plenty of plates a flatware. We bring our own huge skillet. The largest skillet is a 12 inch which works for most folks. Plenty of casseroles and mixing bowls. Bring your coffee and filters or your coffee pods...both are accommodated. The beds are comfortable with multiple pillows in different firmness which was great! A small beach and playground with the usual stuff plus a basketball court less than a 5 minute walk. The gazebo has a great view of the lake at sunset! If I had any complaints at all the only one would be the beautiful wood floors throughout are a little squeaky. Would definitely recommend this house and this host!!!!!!

We utilized the pool table, ping pong table, game room and firepit. I had 2 knee replacements and hip and wrist surgery in the past year. I didn't think it through and the steep steps were alot for me. I will say the handrails and grab bars were a godsend. We had 4 generations and they all had a great time. The parking was also good.

Location is good. House’s size, feasibility, access and owners are very good. However, it is an old house and things tend to break. We experienced one of the two full bathrooms had an issue with water leakage. During a hot day, the A/C didn’t circulate properly. The kitchen had rotten egg smell when we checked in, but the owner credited us 200. That was nice. Overall, we enjoyed staying in the house.
