Hazel Barn

Good and quiet location despite being part of a group of holiday homes. Easy parking outside. Very clean and nicely decorated. Good equipment in kitchen including cafetière. Pint of milk left for us was a nice touch. No cream tea though as earlier reviewers had mentioned. Beds were really comfortable and quality cotton bedding and towels provided. Lovely walk through courtyard gate up to the golf course with beautiful views to Falmouth and the sea.

The WiFi is pretty non-existent though very limited mobile around Falmouth seems pretty standard too. Don’t expect to be able to work from home if you need WiFi. As others mentioned, the dishwasher top tray falls out and is very tricky to get back in. The blinds on the roof lights in the bedroom are almost impossible to pull down. They are the only windows in the bedrooms so feels a bit closed in. There’s no ventilation in the living room unless you open the door onto the shared courtyard and we had a (friendly) dog just pop in! We didn’t have a dog with us but that might be tricky for others.

Absolutely amazing accomodation, up there with the best we’ve ever stayed at. Amazingly well equipped, and the biscuits and milk was a very nice touch :)

Only small negatives: the main blinds in the two singles room are stuck open, can see these being mentioned in past feedbacks and not fixed - means you dont have a dark bedroom at all. Single beds are soooo soft they actually are uncomfortable, BUT easy fix, just flip the mattress 👍 And although WIFI provided - it’s a tad rubbish, like not worth having type bad 😝

Code was sent with directions well in advance. It was easy to access the property

Lounge gives on the main courtyard, so people see right in. Internet connection was patchy, this got resolved throughout the week

Location perfect - a beautiful spot, convenient for beaches and Falmouth. House - very clean and modern inside

Wifi - only one phone could use wifi at a time and sometimes nothing would work Freezer - couldn’t get it cold enough for anything to remain frozen Oven - only some of settings work, no baking trays or oven gloves Garden furniture - a mismatch of old furniture needing repainting or replacing Shower - low water pressure Such a shame as really could have been perfect
