Enjoyable space but poor fixtures, maintenance and cleaning meant we had a lot to put up with. Pity
Location. Fishing. Hot Tub, Spacious kitchen, dining room and separate lounge. Owner friendly.
Fixtures and fitting in poor condition. Some missing, some broken. Tom had a bed fixed for us and a curtain nailed up in small room. Other curtains needed attention but we could not spend all our holiday complaining. Insufficient resources to clean properly between back to back bookings. So I had to clean many surfaces and inside cupboards and remake all the beds. Linen was old and ill fitting. Pillows, duvets and mattresses were old, bobbled and stained. The Kitchen was reasonably stocked. We asked for more teaspoons and a tray. These were provided promptly. I've never seen so many poor quality, damaged saucepans. An inventory would have been useful. The twin bed room was really only suitable for children. That room was filled with dirty soft toys and broken toys. (We bagged these up, moved them and just replaced them at the end. Storage was often full of things we didn't want or need. In the main bedroom every wardrobe or cupboard were filled with other old curtains and bedding.

Location was close to everything and easy to get to and from. Host was approachable, and really friendly. The house is beautiful, lovely views. Nice to have animals in the field opposite that the kids could feed. The hot tub was a big bonus for us, one of the reasons we booked, nice to be able to go in after long days, kept its temperature and kept clean.

Dripping of shower in main bedroom and beeping of main gate 24/7 could have been heard
