Really affordable price especially if you travel as a large group. Especially with kids on a tight budget Clean cottage, friendly owners, fire pit with firewood provided outside, lots of things to do in the yard including volleyball net, sweet forest just across the road where people go collect mushrooms, relative privacy, affordability as you pay the same price regardless of the number of people, kitchen is staffed with utensils, nice table outside by the door where we had dinner, no mosquitoes during our stay. We were a group of four with me, my elderly parents and my aunt. They did message us the night before we left and said that because there are no guests the following day we can stay longer than the regular checkout time. That was a nice touch. 8/10, but I was considering lower score.

The hidden charges for electricity and electric heat. You need to pay that separately and as far as I know it was not mentioned anywhere before I got there. Not big deal for us but could be pricey during cold seasons. Also we stayed in many places but this is the only one that doesn't provide bathroom towels. I guess they did not say they were providing them on the website. So it's fair except you don't usually check for towels availability in the small script as you book. It took them nearly 24 hours to reply to my email asking if they can provide any towels, and they finally rented us for one euro a piece 24 hours later. Since we arrived late my elderly parents and myself had to use their t-shirts to dry themselves the first evening. The cottage is a small place but it's designed to hold large groups of people. There are six beds on the second floor, which take entire space. There is virtually no other furniture there. Plus there is a large bed on the first floor. You can sleep total of 10 people there, with three couples. The problem is that the water boiler is tiny and holds enough water so that only one person can take a shower at the time. The second person has to wait until the water heats up again. Waiting takes a while Wi-Fi is very weak. You can use it but I preferred setting up a mobile hotspot. Not a big deal but if you need it please be aware. The last few things that can be improved are the lack of hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes, lack of coffee maker, and the lack of basic spices like salt and pepper. I guess I can't demand tea bags but we stayed in six other places and everywhere tea bags were provided. Finally, I did expect a better view from the mountain but it was just a glorified backyard surrounded by trees and other cottages and the owners residence. Again I can't complain about that. It just didn't match my expectations.
