The property was beautiful. My children loved exploring the farm, swimming in the pool and visiting the animals.

The location is beautiful, surrounded by greenery and peace. It’s pleasant to walk around, and you can even pick some fresh tomatoes and basil from the fields. The property is also very conveniently located for exploring the island. On our first night, we had dinner at the on-site restaurant and the food was high quality.

Unfortunately, we felt there was a lack of care toward guests. We had requested (and offered to pay for, but they said it was included in the price) a mid-stay cleaning of the “vista mare” apartment during our 7-night stay. Although initially confirmed, the cleaning was postponed last-minute and eventually done only the evening before our departure, with many apologies but also actually very poorly, with the bathroom still very very dirty. They justified this by saying the cleaners were busy with other check-ins, but that’s a matter of poor organization that should not affect the guests—especially when a service is included in the price. The apartment also had an ant problem, which we had to deal with ourselves using vinegar, as no repellent was provided. The boiler malfunctioned daily, and we had to reset it ourselves several times for taking shower, which shouldn’t be the guest’s responsibility, especially since dealing with a boiler can be risky. We had to do this multiple times every day just to have hot water. Large dogs roam the property freely, which wasn’t a problem for us, but they defecated in shared areas, and one pile stayed for two days until we complained. It was dangerous too, since it’s very dark at night and we had to use flashlights to avoid stepping in it. One of the dogs also jumped into the pool while we were using it. Again, not an issue for us, but it could definitely be unpleasant or even problematic for someone with allergies. The jacuzzi wasn’t very clean either. Despite being a family-run property—which usually calls for more understanding—there seems to be a recurring lack of real attention, as also noted in other reviews. The owner offered a bottle of wine as an apology, but considering the overall inconvenience, we expected more meaningful compensation or at least better organization and respect for guests’ comfort.
