On the terrace you dine with wonderful food, very original, exquisite wines and stories after stories, talking for hours, laughing, fireworks of ideas. The house, the story, the two amazing owners Silvie & Jan. all provide inspiration and calmness. Not to forget Pablo, the ultra-friendly cat and real boss of the premise. If you want luxurious accommodation surrounded by nothing but nature - you’re in for a treat. The rest of the year it provides you with the happiness of knowing it’s there, waiting for you.

The property is a beautifully restored traditional Percheron house, with all comforts and landscaped land all around. We were able to see the Percheron horses that are kept there, and enjoyed lovely meals of the seasonal local products every day. For a peaceful stay in this area I cannot recommend it enough, and it is well worth a detour.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Silvia general manager and owner, our names were mentioned from the start and all rooms and facilities are (clean and modern) of top quality. The team/staff are extremely friendly, the breakfast times are made very flexible (appreciate this!) to fit into our own personal plans for the day, deserves a special thanks given the various food types requests we made. Fresh bread daily, homemade cake daily, apple juice taken from the properties own orchard trees, freshly served eggs from the properties own chickens. The property has a wonderful Jacuzzi, horses within the land, wonderful plants and flowers across a number of buildings. We had six great days here, which obviously also added up to the experience. The atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home for all of us. All respect to the general manager Silvia who does a great job here; a true example of excellent hospitality. We truly enjoyed walking through some of the local village. The scenery was beautiful quiet and peaceful environment. I would recommend Domaine de La Lochetière Chambres d'hôtes to (Overall experience was awesome) anyone and everyone who wants to stay in the area, sightseeing, trekking, wedding, visiting chateau, castles, horse riding, traditional Markets.
