The location of the small chalet is about 15 min. drive above Sallanches, a pretty narrow road with a lot of turns. I trusted my GPS and finally it arrived at the correct location. once there, I had to ask where is the chalet. I Knew it was not a detached chalet, but a small housing unit attached to other similar housing unit. The key was in the mailbox.
I can only compare to a chalet we have been renting for years in Morgins, Switzerland and some R&B locations we used here in the USA. I was disappointed. The water faucet base in the kitchen is broken. I was afraid to use it, fearing to break it. The paint in the bathtub wall is peeling. The chalet needs some TLC. Plus some other details I will communicate directly with the owner. A BIG plus, you have a beautiful view over the Mont-Blanc. We had 4 days of just sun.
