About this house rental
Situated on 2 1/2 acres, our home is perfect for friends, families or couples looking to enjoy the peace, quiet and beauty of the desert. Located just 20 minutes from the Joshua Tree National Park West Entrance, the Tilford House has four bedrooms with closets, storage and new mattresses and bedding in each. Master suite is on one side of the house, with three bedrooms and another bathroom on the opposite side. Fully equipped kitchen. The perfect getaway for a trip to the desert!

Don and Denise have created such a lovely welcoming place. Great to have 4 wonderful bedrooms, 2 baths, a great kitchen and comfortable furniture and spaces.
It is on a dirt road (about 1 mile off the paved road). If you reserve this home, ask Don and Denise for specific directions. Do NOT trust trust your personal GPS - it will take you miles out of your way through a long dirt-road-scenic-route.
Again, I appreciate this beautiful place in wonderful Joshua Tree.

Lovely house that we used to work on our writing. Had everything we needed. Loved the decor. We enjoyed the remote away from it all location.

Very clean and cool house. Nicely maintained. Went specifically to star gaze. Some light pollution from nearby cities but much better from our own home in the city. Food delivery options are a bit limited so bring your own food or plan to eat out. A mile or so of dirt roads to access the house. We were in a minivan. It was doable but bumpy. Overall we would stay again and recommend. Bedding, decor, games, kitchen, etc, all well done.

The listing is spot on. The hosts are incredible. The value is incomparable. We celebrated our wedding here with only our immediate family. Covid steered a lot of our decisions of course but when all was said and done, we wouldn't have changed a thing. This place is very special!
