Reasonable house with lovely outside area in quiet neighbourhood

Loved the garden patio area. Nice quiet neighbourhood. Good for cycling. Well equipped kitchen and lovely big bathroom.

Very steep stairs to bedroom area. Bathroom downstairs so had to navigate them throughout the night. Not suitable for anyone with ANY mobility issues

We used to house as a base for travelling and we didnt have time to fully utilise all the facilities provided.

Quiet location close to the N62 road and the Gent Canal

Only a downstairs bathroom off the kitchen/dining room. Very steep stairs up to the bedrooms which had limited storage for clothes.A copy of the house rules in English for our visit would have been helpful. Be mindful of the parking arrangements off a fairly narrow road.

Cozy home away from home

Everything was very cozy, clean and like home. Quiet place with lot of possibilities in the house. Amazing roofed teras and garden with lot of space.

Instructions only in Dutch language and no cupboards for clothes in two out of 3 rooms.

Nice stay in Westdorpe

The bed was excellent. The kitchen was also quite good and well equipped. We liked the patio and the view from the rear. House is easy to find and it has a nice car park so you don't have to park your car alongside the road. All in all we found it great value for money. COincidently the hosts were in the house upon arrival. They were very kind. They also handed over the keys, so no need to get these from the small locker box this time.

Nice place

The patio and view is great. The kitchen is very well equiped. The beds are large and of good quality. The living room is comfortable. Linnen and towels are plenty and available. Wide range of popular music cd's.

No sink and/or toilet on second floor. Very steep stairs. Flooding during heavy rainstorm (incident). No ventilation in the bathroom except a high window which can't be used if it's windy/storm. The inventory doesn't meet the listed items. Doors are hard to close/very noisy.

It was only a one night stop over but we wanted to stay for longer!

Wasn’t clear how I was to obtain the code door the key box. The stairs in the property are so incredibly steep and would not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

Het huis is te duur en is het niet waard.....:(

Locatie

De foto's geven een onduidelijk beeld van het huis, Was erg gedateerd en niet overal even schoon (Dit terwijl het te koop staat voor 538.000, wat het echt niet waard is). De trap was levensgevaarlijk. Ook moesten we de host heel veel overtuigen dat het te koud was in het huis, de kou vanaf de vloer was niet te doen en de pelletkachel deed het ook niet. Verder werden we toen we thuis waren verrast met het feit dat we 2 kleine hondjes hadden meegenomen en of we daar voor de 6 nachten even 120 eu wilde betalen. Zoveel hadden we niet verwacht voor 2 kleine chihuahua's, we hebben het zelfs nog gestofzuigd en alles netjes afgenomen en dus achtergelaten. Wellicht kan de host mbt de kosten voor honden in de toekomst vooraf wat meer duidelijkheid over geven....Want een melding op de booking site zoals dit: Huisdieren zijn op verzoek toegestaan. Er zijn mogelijk extra kosten (hoeveel??) aan verbonden, schept vooraf niet echt duidelijkheid.... We lazen ook bij eerdere beoordelingen dat de host het niet fijn vind dat er honden verblijven. Kortom we hebben een oud en gedateerd huis gehuurd voor 6 dagen voor 850 eu (730+120) vinden wij wat erg aan de hoge kant.

Locatie en omgeving zijn waanzinnig.

De locatie en de omgeving

De stijle trap en op de eerste etage geen WC. Geen strijkplank en strijkijzer aanwezig, terwijl het wel op de lijst stond. Gemeld bij de verhuurder maar bood geen oplossing. Dus zelf een strijkijzer gekocht. Hoeken, lampen en plafond waren onder de stof en spinnenwebben.

Ruim, comfortabel en schoon verblijf in mooie omgeving.

Ruim huis, schoon, fijne tuin, compleet ingericht, erg goede WiFi, leuke locatie.

De steile trap is inderdaad niet prettig, vooral wanneer iemand 's nachts naar de WC moet (die is alleen beneden) Geen opbergruimte in de slaapkamers (geen kleerkasten en zelfs geen haakjes). De enorme lijst met instructies en ge- en verboden voelt niet echt gastvrij.

Mooi voor een weekendje weg

Er was een lekker groot bad, je kon er gebruik van maken met 2 personen tegelijk. Het uitzicht was prachtig, sochtends kon je de zonsopgang zien vanuit de tuin en savonds de ondergang aan de voorkant van het huis. Op korte afstand van Gent. In het dorp zelf zit een leuk restaurantje waar wij hebben gegeten, de Tukker. Ook de supermarkten Lidl en AH zijn snel bereikbaar met de auto.

Niet echt iets slechts, maar het verblijf is niet aan te raden voor ouderen of mensen die slecht ter been zijn. De trap is namelijk erg stijl.

In Ordnung, aber nicht nochmals.

Die ruhige Lage war toll, eigener Parkplatz.

Die enge, steile Treppe ist eine Herausforderung. Was sehr ärgerlich war, war die zeitgleiche Vermietung des kleinen tiny Hauses direkt an der Terrasse. Es war vorher nicht ersichtlich (im Internet sind veraltete Fotos), dass es mittlerweile eine zweite Mietpartei gibt, wodurch die Terrasse geteilt wird und keiner eine richtige Privatsphäre hat. Wäre das vorher bekannt gewesen, hätten wir auf keinen Fall gebucht. Die Dusche ist in den Ecken am schimmeln.

erg smalle traptreden, dat vonden sommigen in ons gezelschap wat spannend Een los toilet zou prettiger zijn dan in 1 ruimte met de douche en het bad, omdat je met een groot gezelschap kunt verblijven en er altijd wel iemand naar de wc moet als er iemand staat te douchen. Kwestie van afstemmen, zeker niet een reden om het huis niet te kiezen.

Drama! Totaal geen aanrader!

Niks beviel mij!

Huis was stoffig, Bedden waren stoffig Huis was ijskoud! 1 slaapkamer had geen kachel. De eigenaar deed de temperatuur vanuit zijn eigen huis op max 21.5 graden en dat alleen tussen 4 uur en 10 uur avond. En als je vroeg of die hoger kon zetten gaf die grote mond en moet bij betaald worden. De eigenaar dient in de omschrijving te vermelden dat 1 slaapkamer geen kachel heeft en dat die alleen bepaalde uren de kachel voor je aanzet en dat op max 21.5 graden! Heb samen met mijn collega's letterlijk in ijskoude kamers geslapen 1 week lang waar ik zoveel heb moeten betalen voor niks! Totaal geen aanrader!
