Tony and Angélique welcome you to Camping Le Clos de Banes, located in Aveyron south of the Massif Central. It is a large country house dating from the 18th century. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, we invite you to live a memorable stay at our campsite in Argences en Aubrac.
Family activities and activitiesLocated between Rodez and Aurillac, Camping Le Clos de Banes is the perfect destination for a relaxing holiday or a sporting holiday! In season, themed evenings are organized. To relax, go to the bar or swimming pool of the campsite!
Rodezis a city full of history, its existence would go back to the 5ndcentury BC. This city is filled with buildings, houses, squares, castles and places of worship that are registered and protected by the State. The wealth of his heritage enabled him to receive the label "Cities and countries of art and historyand a commission for an application for a possible inscription in the UNESCO World Heritage Site is under way.
Rodez is best known for its numerous and most beautiful religious buildings. TheNotre Dame Cathedral,Episcopal Palaceand Saint-Amans Church are among other things part of this very rich religious heritage.
Rodez is a dynamic cultural hub especially recognized for its festival "Estivada", which celebrates Occitan culture. During this festival you will be offered many animations (dance, reading, music, sport, ...). It is an opportunity to dive into the heart of Occitan culture and discover the customs of this region.
A very important place is given to gastronomy, you can enjoy local specialities by going to markets that take place 2 to 3 times a week or by going to enjoy good meals in restaurants in the city centre.
