About this bed and breakfast
Small house for up to 4 people in the midst of vineyards, that can be rented on its own or with the larger house adjacent (listing 4437012). The house is small but perfect for a couple with one or two children. The bedroom can be separated from the kitchen and living area with a sliding door but it works best as one large room. There is a double bed on a mezzanine and a sofa that makes two 80cm x 1m90 wide beds. There is a kitchenette with oven and fridge, and a washing machine in the shower room. There is an outdoor shower and a patio with outdoor kitchen: stone countertop, sink and BBQ. There is a large garden, and acres of outdoor space all around. The only neighbour is the large house, but there is total privacy.
This property and the main house are totally independent: they are separated by a 2m wide footpath and there is no overlooking, as they have a stone wall 1.8m tall between them. The video shows mainly the main house, but you can see the exterior of the small house and the environment.
Barra beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Galica and Europe is one km away, a 15min walk through vineyards, pine groves and sand dunes. The acess is by a dirt road used only by these two properties so there is no traffic at all. There are two restaurants at 400m and hiking trails pass in front of the house. Leave you car parked and enjoy the beach and the coastal walks right outside your door.
Access:
The house is quite isolated, the nearest neighbours are about 300m away in the village of Donon (two restaurants and a bar). We think this is the best thing about the house, but this may not suit everyone. There are a few people hiking or mountain biking nearby during the day but otherwise there are very few people. The access is down a 400m long single dirt track which is fairly steep at the top. We see this as a big advantage as it looks very private and deters cars from coming down. You will not hear any traffic at the house. You can walk to the village and to the beach so you probably won’t use your car often.
There is wifi but no television and no bath tub. Phone reception is poor, you need to go into the garden.

Dieses sehr durchdachte und stylische kleine Ferienhaus ist ideal zum Urlaub machen. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, die Außenanlage ist fantastisch und auch sonst lässt das Häuschen keine Wünsche offen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert und er hat im Vorhinein jede Menge Infos bereitgestellt. Einzig für einen Aufenthalt mit Baby/Kind ist es nicht wirklich geeignet, da es freie Treppen ohne Geländer gibt. Ansonsten aber sehr zu empfehlen!
