Black Walnut Bed and Breakfast

Our Host Jen is excellent in every area you would want a B&B host to be! Her breakfasts were delicious and at the perfect time (not too early/not to late) though I suspect had we wanted it at a different time she likely would have tried to accommodate us! She knows the area very well and had lots of helpful suggestions (which we took) about places to go and things to do!

We have nothing to say here!

We stayed two nights. The breakfast was different each day; both delicious. Waffles and sausage one morning; an egg/vegetable omelet and bacon the second morning along with fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee. The dining room table was set with placemats and stoneware; the pottery coffee mugs were specially made with the B&B logo. We loved setting on the back porch sunroom with resident cat. The host was very helpful in directing us to wineries, local attractions and restaurants. We would definitely recommend staying at the Black Walnut B & B.

We cannot think of anything we didn't like. The house is very old; however, updates have been completed on areas available to guests. Future plans include additional renovations to property.

The host was amazing. She gave us great tips and information regarding the finger lakes wineries and food. Loved the breakfasts! We felt right at home.

Owner was cheerful and helpful. Breakfasts were nourishing and varied.

Located just off a busy highway. Traffic and traffic noise day and night. Nearest groceries, etc about 5 miles away. Not really close to Interlaken, as advertised, nor a convenient drive into Ithaca. This is a dated, somewhat updated facility. Below our standard for a B&B.
