Just a short drive to the Lost Colony Outdoor Drama and Historic Roanoke Island complete with the North Carolina Aquarium. Bike paths from the property all through the area. We loved the location of this house and had an amazing week. Only thing I would make a complaint about is that none of the bathroom outlets worked. We communicated this to the rental property and it was not resolved before we left.

Our needs were well suited here. The house is well designed and spacious and well stocked. There was more than enough room for all 8 of us to move around. The door to the deck with the hot tub in the master bedroom is a nice feature as well as the outdoor shower, which everyone preferred to use. With the beach access right across the street and a short walk to the sand, it was an enjoyable experience. Will definitely return for future stays here.

Overall this beach house was nice, I have very few complaints but the biggest one is you might need another cleaning crew, could tell it wasn’t cleaned hardly at all, railings, windows, walls seemed pretty dirty nothing that can’t be fixed with a good cleaning and a fresh coat of paint…furniture is a little worn and could be updated BUT that is it, the location is right across from beach access, not far to walk with a bunch of beach accessories. Bed was comfortable, they also have new(er) bikes for a family of 4. Would stay here again.

When we arrived around 4 pm and the house was not clean at all. We were back and forth for over 2 hours while sitting on the porch with the property management to get the house clean so we could go in. A little after 6 a cleaning crew came and cleaned the property for us. We were able to go in a little after 7. After that the stay was very enjoyable and very convenient to all the attractions of the outerbanks. I am sure the realty company will make sure that going forward it will not happen again.
