Beautiful Lake House On Large Private Peninsula

We’ve been coming here for a few years now and absolutely love it! The house is plenty big to accommodate our large family and now grandbabies. The house is a bit secluded with plenty of yard space. The geese droppings were more than usual but we spent part of the day picking it up. The screens need replaced on the patio doors on the second floor. Couldn’t leave them open as flies and bees were coming in. We did bring some screen tape as temporary fix while we there. It worked for the time. The host communicates actively and is pleasant.

This property is totally understated in its description. The owners have thought of just about everything you would need for a weeks stay, and then some. The 3 bedrooms are outstanding and the loft area with 3 Queen beds and a twin bed was laid out wonderfully. The 3 Queens are in 3 different alcoves which gives a sense of privacy for each one. There is crib in one bedroom, which was a wonderful surprise with two little ones with us. The kitchen had everything we needed with enough plates, bowls and utensils to feed an army. The two living areas were wonderful for when the kids wanted to play away from the adults and vice versa. There was lots of space. The owners also supplied lots of games and outdoor equipment to keep everyone entertained. Either in the yard, in the house, around the fire pit and on the lake. And after a full day of play the adults REALLY enjoyed the massage chair. That was a huge hit. The property manager, Laura, was very responsive (and patient) in regard to responding to our many questions. We would not hesitate to rent this property again. It helped make our family reunion a HUGE success.

We had two families that enjoyed our stay here. The house was so fun and had more than enough room for 11 people. The pictures do not do this place justice. We traveled with 4 adults and 7 kids. The kids enjoyed the house, the yard games and if course the water! The beach was great. Easy to get in and out of the water and shallow enough for little ones. We were very thankful to have the opportunity to use the kayaks and paddle board, which allowed many of use to enjoy the lake even more. The house! Wow! What a unique place. I swear we were still finding new things even on our last day. The space is used to the fullest and allowed everyone to spread out and not feel like we were on top of one another. Kids got to watch what they wanted in an upstairs TV, while the adults made use of the main level TV. We enjoyed having multiple bathrooms too, made showers quick and efficient. I think the loft was my favorite for the kids as they all had a space to themselves. Laura was helpful too, answering questions quickly when we had them. We do hope to come back in the future.
