I love Shiva Lodge - the beautiful traditional Varanasi Haveli is so full of character and charm, and the manager, Pinky is such a warm and welcoming person - feels like home in ancient Varanasi! And the terrace views are stunning :)
Doesn’t have AC so might not suit some people in summer.

We were surprised about how cosy the place is. We had a warm welcome and a very convenient stay. The location is great to visit the ghats.

The location is really good and the staff is very friendly. It's nice to sit on the rooftop, would've been cool if they serve drinks up there. Overall it was fine.
The bed wasn't very comfortable and its a bit wild that you have to pay for toilet paper. This should be i included in the price. Never experienced and is a bit strange. Its also very noisy in the morning because there is a temple next door.
