The property was very nice, clean, and pictures represented the property well. The sole reason we rented the home was due to it having a pool and hot tub with pond view that we could enjoy the whole time we were there. In the advertisement it stated heating the pool and hot tub was an additional $/day plus tax to be paid after reservation. We reserved the property and then paid for the heating separately to then be told by elite homes that the pool heating was 9am to 9am. We stated the only reason we rented the home was for the pool and hot tub and with activities locally which all tenants would normally enjoy would be using the pool and hot tub late. We are two respectful middle age adults and reason to rent home versus hotel is the freedom to use the amenities whenever we want. I stated we wanted it on 24hrs to enjoy evening swimming and hot tub. They stated no. I asked if at least they could change the hours on the equipment setting (11 to 11) which they have to come and turn on anyway. They stated no. I asked for a refund for the property at that time which they stated no refunds but i can opt not to pay for heating. That was the reason we rented the home. Then issues with heater valves leaking resulted in 2 nights not working which they would only refund one night of heating (I can describe in detail if you like call me). When elite homes first came the guy stated it is a whirl pool and tried to state the violent bubbles were correct and heating like pool is normal it is a whirlpool versus hot tub (not sure what that was about, I am not an idiot). I asked why 9-9 restrictions and was told HOA restrictions. Well being on site I went to office and asked. They stated of course no issue heating 24hrs a day just no loud music etc. Hot tub bubbles on timer worked 24hrs but heat for pool and hot tub which make same noise as an AC unit were 9-9PM. It is the owners or rental managers decision to rent the property with whatever rules they want, but they should be clearing stated.
Elite homes check-in was non contact through box outside. That is fine but when I came to door at 3:45pm they point at watch and state through window check-in is at four. Other homes/condo's have same time but that is at the property. Thus giving us paperwork at 3:45pm would have had us at home door at 4PM. That stated reason for office not open is COVID although two folks I could see inside had no mask on at all.
