Quiet area and free city tram just across from apartments building. Views from every bedroom. Wonderful place for family or friends holiday.

Only 1 towel per guest for the week. One of the bed quilts had dirty stain on sleeping side of cover.Airconditioning did not seem to work for temperature change and room direction control.

We were given a unit facing the Yarra river where barge piling was undertaken and creating tremendous noise from around 7AM in the morning. Upon hearing the complaint, the host was quick to arrange a relocation to another unit on the other side which created a less noisy environment for the remaining two weeks of stay.

The fixture in the relocated unit has issues. The ensuite room door does not close properly without being forced to and creating much noise, affecting not just us but perhaps also other units, as the wall or ceiling sound insulation is far from perfect. The shower head in the same room spills and water pressure is somewhat weak, making a relaxing shower in a cold evening not easily tenable. The evening before we checked out, someone's car barged in our assigned car space, and the assignment of another car space could have been arranged more smoothly and expeditiously.

They also provided an explanation and apology for the milk capsules as they were still in date but had gone off

There was no parking close to the office where the keys had to be collected from. We had to park in a very limited time zone risking a fine. The river views are overstated. The view is full of cranes and the second floor unit was noisy (unless you kept all the windows closed) Reception staff at the apartment block were not helpful and were quick to state that they had nothing to do with our booking, referring us back to the agency. Calling the agency back was very challenging, going through different people and having to explain the issues many times. We decided it was much easier to walk to the office. SMS worked well. The table glass top had marks and glass rings when we arrived and could not be wiped. The carpet in the living area is old and full of marks. These two combined produce a poor first impression when entering the apartment for the first time. Initially, we were informed that our parking spot was in level 4 and our unit in level 2 but that we would have to walk to ground level and catch the lift from there to enter the unit (?). Thankfully, this was sorted with the reception staff. Apparently, the one bedroom apartments don't have parking so it is up to reception staff to agree to provide access. This is not clearly stated in the advertising.
