Alliance Hotel Tashkent

Great location, close to nice restaurants, bars, metro station... The swimming pool is really small but we enjoyed it. The receptionists were really nice, helpful and friendly. Giant room. Really cheap for what you get!

The breakfast was, by far, the worst we had in the two weeks around the country.

Huge room , good wifi , kettle , fridge , very clean , nice pool . Friendly staff . Bed was comfy.

Incredibly friendly staff! The room was super comfortable, close to the airport and in a great part of Tashkent, close to lots and only a short drive away from most things. Big fan of this hotel; even has a pool if you so desire.

I would've liked a card option for payment instead of being told to go to an ATM for cash (the ATM on the street didn't take my Australian card) but thats a small thing.

The reception staff were brilliant help. Supporting with transport and questions. The location was excellent with a number of good restaurants, cafes, metro stations and banks near by. Taxi from YandexGo only ever took max 4 mins to come. We stayed at this hotel twice for convenience. Fine for us but please note the ceilings in this attic triple room are very low - beds feel like stooping in a tent kind of low! - so if you can't get up and down easily or wouldn't like this, now you know. Also four flights of stairs up to the room so be aware if you are not able to carry your luggage.

This hotel is very tidy but not particularly clean. The place needs an update, yes, but also things like glasses at breakfast were passable if not a bit grubby. My advice is if you need somewhere cheap / affordable in a great location for max a couple nights, it works fine. We stayed twice because of this. However, I think grab breakfast out nearby.
