Lovely and convenient

The pillows were very comfortable and the blanket was nicely heavy, perfect since I get cold easily. The staff were very friendly, and there’s a convenience store and several food options within about 500 meters. My room was spacious and cute and I liked having both shutters and light-coloured curtains. I could roll up the shutters while keeping the curtains closed, letting in plenty of light without being blinded and creating a pleasant atmosphere.

The shower looked nice and clean but wasn’t very practical. The glass screen was too small to prevent some water from splashing out, and since the floor is completely flat, a little bit of water flowed into the rest of the bathroom. You can stop it with towels, but it’s inconvenient, especially at first. The bathroom door was also quite noisy as you open it, which isn’t ideal for late-night use.

A nice place to stay

Very good communication with host. They were not at home at time of arrival, but had made up space in their private garage for our motorbikes, which was very much appreciated as rain was pouring down, and we've had a 900 km travel in pouring rain during the travel there. Apartment was clean and nice, beds very good and comfy. Can highly recommend this place.

I liked the location 'Zele'. From Zele tourist places like Brussels, Antwerp and Ghent are convenient to reach by car. Veronika is an excellent host. She is open and most of the questions were answered by her. Any open questions I had, called or messaged her, and were answered immediately.

I would recomed you to book this accomodation.

The owner was so kind! She was polite and she respected our private. The room was really nice, clean and big. The bathroom was clean. There is a possibility to change the temperature in the bathroom and in the room.

It is little bit far away from big cities. But the train station is near.

It felt like staying in a cosy home.

The room is full of character and really well lit. There was many interesting detail to look at, old chair, wall art, wicker basket, fireplace and a huge tv with Netflix. Great selection of hot drinks. There’s windows on two sides with pleasant views. The toilet had a skylight and stained glass window, and of course warm shower.

There was works by the pavement outside but this is temporary. In the morning it became noisy.
