Morum Athens Urban Stay

We traveled as a family of 10 to support our daughter during her EF Tours trip, and this property ended up being one of the highlights of our stay in Greece. I was initially concerned based on some of the Google Maps images, but those concerns disappeared as soon as we arrived. The home was comfortable, welcoming, and quickly became a place we genuinely looked forward to returning to each evening. Several days we spent significant time there simply relaxing, cooking meals, and enjoying family time between excursions. For a large family, having that kind of space and comfort was invaluable. The location was excellent. We were within easy driving distance of the Acropolis and many of Athens' historic attractions while still having restaurants, dessert shops, convenience stores, and local gathering spots nearby. The property sits on a busy street, but it provided a nice balance between being connected to the city and having a comfortable place to unwind. Stefanos and Violet were wonderful hosts. Their communication was prompt, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. As Americans who do not speak Greek, we occasionally encountered language barriers, but they were always patient and willing to help us work through them. We also loved the surrounding neighborhood. We found ourselves returning to People's Coffee and Crepes and Ταβέρνα - Ψησταριά Μανδράκης several times, while the Bazaar market around the corner was perfect for groceries and snacks. On our final evening, I was warmly welcomed at Το καφενεδάκι Έξαρχος μεζεδοπωλείο, which was a memorable way to end our trip.

Honestly, there was very little to dislike. The following are more suggestions than complaints. When we arrived, it was clear the property had been cleaned and prepared for guests, though we did notice a few stray hairs in one bathroom and bedroom. It was minor and did not impact our stay. For larger families staying several days, additional supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags would be appreciated. With ten people in our group, we went through those items fairly quickly and needed to purchase extras. A microwave, even a compact model, would be helpful for reheating leftovers and quick meals. A television in the bedrooms and perhaps a small seating area in the master bedroom would also be nice additions given the available space. One thing we did not anticipate was the absence of washcloths. We commonly use them at home, so we had to improvise during our stay. Body towels were provided, but washcloths would be a helpful addition for some travelers. None of these items diminished our experience. They are simply suggestions that could make an already excellent property even better. Overall, the stay exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly return.

The part men is super spacious and super clean, the glass door was so clean that I ran into one and almost broke my head 😂 😂 😂 so overall it was a very nice apartment, has everything in its proximity, the manager also was super responsive….. absolutely loved it…. If I ever visit again, I’ll def stay here 🫶🫶
