Great location, surprisingly very quiet, no man-made noise despite being in an area surrounded by other apartments. We woke up to the lovely songs of the Butcherbirds and the calls of Corella's passing overhead. There are lovely tall palm trees in surrounding gardens and a small sliver of view towards the ocean and sandy beach. We could see the container ships passing in the ocean. All linen was provided, and it was great to have an air conditioner and full internal laundry with laundry liquid, pegs, and outdoor hanging rack on the balcony all provided. The single-car lock-up garage was terrific. We had everything we needed, and it was only 2 minutes' walk to Happy Valley and Bulcock Beach & to the main shops in Bulcock Street where we went to the Sunday markets. We also walked to Kings Beach & Shelly Beach.

The kitchen needs a thorough review of the utensils & crockery provided. It needs a new clean set of coffee mugs (they were all old & some awfully tea-stained) & a set of matching glasses & matching bowls & dinner plates, etc. Also, I could not find a chopping board or bread knife, kitchen scissors, nor a jug to hold cold water in the fridge. With beds for 5 people, there needs to be 5 sets of everything in the kitchen. This needs updating to cater accordingly.

No food supplied but kitchen facilities available. Two minutes to the beach in one direction,two minutes to the main street (cafes,restaurants,supermarkets,pubs,souvenirs etc)in the other direction.

I should have stayed longer.

Apartment was a little dated but clean, tidy and comfortable. Although we didn't have the best view it was a good location, close to the beach, parks, shops and take aways. Nice family friendly vibe.

We had to make our own beds and strip the beds before leaving which we did not expect and felt that should have be included in the price. It was a bit inconvenient that the key collection and returns was not in the building and we had to drive to a real estate agent.
