About this house rental
Viña Santa Petronila offers charming accommodation in its Cortijo, built in 1727 and refurbished in 2009. The Vineyard is authentic, with stone walls, hydraulic tile floors and high ceilings. It is surrounded by 17 ha. from vineyard, and continues to produce its own artisanal wine. There is an overflowing pool with privileged views of the Jerez countryside. It is an ideal place for a getaway with friends or a family reunion. The capacity of the Vineyard is 20-22 people, and in high season, Christmas, New Year, Easter, Grand Prix, Fair and August the whole house is rented, with a price for the whole house (not per person) .

We chose Santa Petronila for our yearly family reunion of 18 members, and we have just come back from a wonderful weekend at the Vineyard. When we arrived we were struck by the peace and silence in the country side, by the wonderful views of the vines, and the nearly 300 year old house with a lot of soul. The decoration is unsofisticated buy very proper for the environment, with its high ceilings, stone walls and old floor tiles. The bedroooms are of medium size, with good beds, and the kitchen, well equiped, is part of the big living room. The outdoors are wonderful, with a small pool and a nice BBQ area. We spent most time outdoor, and did some niche walks around the vineyards around. We had a great time together, and the peak moment was the wine tasting event the owners organized in the small next door Bodega, with excellent Sherry wines.

Estuvimos una semana en este cortijo entre viñedos con unos amigos. La experiencia fue espectacular. A pesar de ser agosto, la casa reúne unas condiciones excelentes, fresca con una decoración muy cuidada y muy buena simbiosis entre la tradición y lo moderno. Disfrutamos de su encantadora alberca que nos ayudo a superar los rigores del verano. Muy bien situada cerca de Jerez, te permite disfrutar de la tranquilidad y estar cerca de muchos lugares de interés. Pueblos, sierra y playas. Además la propiedad tiene la que se considera la bodega más pequeña de vinos de Jerez. Pasar un tiempo con los propietarios en la bodega es una experiencia única donde puedes ver toda la tradición y experiencia que hay detrás de las barricas. El vino es de una calidad insuperable. Totalmente recomendable.

Estuvimos un grupo de 12 adultos un fin de semana en Julio. Nos hizo un calor tremendo aunque la verdad es que en la casa se estaba muy bien. El cortijo es muy bonito y nos dieron una pequeña visita a la bodega que es preciosas y tb nos dieron a probar de sus vinos jerezanos. Para el que conoce la zona, la ubicación es buena, estas en medio del campo y hay mucha tranquilidad pero muy cerca de Jerez con toda su vida y a 20 minutos tienes buenas playas. Estuvimos solo un fin de semana pero disfrutamos mucho y nos pareció que la "casa" era muy cómoda y estaba muy completa, sobre todo disfrutamos de la piscina con unas vistas espectaculares. Repetiremos si podemos
