About this house rental

Built at the end of the 19th century, the Fabrique in the popular Fourmiguier district saw around a hundred workers arriving every morning working on some 26 embroidery looms. A true industrial adventure of half a century. Its construction in this context makes it a building whose rehabilitation carried out in an intelligent as well as creative way make it a unique place of scenery and pleasant to live.
No narrow accommodation but nothing but ambitious living spaces with tall openings constructed in this way for greater clarity in what was at the time of the workshops.
A preserved architecture revealing very long beams combining with a metal structure very used in its years (this is the time of the Eiffel Tower), all comforting the change of scenery.
The interior layout is not to be outdone, mixing styles and surprises.
Everything is obviously there for comfort and living there.
The price indicated corresponds to a configuration but the simplest for more details is to give the most precision on who you are (large families, groups of friends, number of adults and children and if some want to be more isolated that others. Indeed, depending on the configuration and in particular the adult / child ratio, the actual price may (possibly) be a little lower than that indicated.

The property was a wonderful setting for our large group of 25. The space is divided in such a way that you are one big group but also have your own space - communal living with some privacy. Both the upper town and lower town of Cordes are walkable from the property. We took advantage daily of the outdoor eating spaces. The views from the upper floors are stunning. The game room was surprisingly well appointed. The pool got a lot of use - nice way to cool off after summer activities. There was a nice collection of bikes available for local rides. Having Jacques on site was helpful - he was very responsive to the minor issues we had. The upper floors are noticebaly more desirable than the ground floor rooms - you may have some wrangling over who goes where.

We had the pleasure of staying 9 days at La Gaudane in Cordes Sur Ciel. We were a family of 15-all ages (from baby to grandparent). I booked La Gaudane from California and family from Germany and France joined us in our stay. We rented the entire factory and it was such a cool experience! The teens got to sleep in what Jacque called the dormitory and they LOVED it. It was a large room with 6 twin beds- which I was told were comfortable. My husband and I were on the second floor across the hall from where Jacque resides. We really enjoyed our room- it had its own private bathroom/shower and the bed was very comfortable. Jacque stays on the property, but is very discrete and we rarely ever saw him until we texted him for something. He has plenty of washers and dryers which was perfect for our large group. He provided laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, and soaps and shampoos which we REALLY appreciated. We invited local family over for dinners we cooked in one of the well equipped kitchens that had a large room/tables for all of us to sit together and eat. The teens and young adults enjoyed the pool as well. It was fun learning about the history of the factory in the museum on the ground floor. You are literally in Cordes- you need only take a short stroll up the cobblestone gorgeous streets and you are at the center of it all. Jacque had so many things we could do and we didnt make use of all the amenities because we spent so many days touring all the local castles
