Lakefront Vacation Home On Lake Thurmond

We enjoyed our stay here very much! The weather didn't cooperate for us to really get some time on the water much but the home and dock area were great. We were able to enjoy grilling on the deck outside. The home is roomy and very clean. It was equipped well (we like to cook). The walk to the dock isn't bad and the view is great! This area of the lake is perfect! We plan to stay here again in the future :)

This home is BEAUTIFUL!! The owners are amazing. This home is very clean and stocked well. The beds are comfortable. The driveway was great for 2 bouts, 2 trucks and 1 other SUV. The little walk down to the private dock was very nice. This really is your home away from home :)

The home is beautiful, clean, and located in a really cool area. On check in day the host mentioned they would like to meet in person to hand the keys off, our arrival time was uncertain and we were unhappy with the check in process. The host did not respond to our delays in arrival with an updated check in process and left the keys under the front mat without telling us this. Once inside a contract was on the counter expected to be filled and returned to the host, with VRBO coverage this felt suspicious and unnecessary. The longer we stayed at this house the more we realized there were hidden cameras in the trees, bird boxes, and surrounding areas pointed at the home, into windows, and in common areas outside. This was not disclosed on the listing and made us all feel uneasy. Bare bone amenities at this home as well, first time I have stayed at a rental property that did not provide basic shower supplies, coffee maker with no coffee, and no basic cooking supplies. These amenities are not expected but have become the minimum a host can provide. Again this beautiful home is located in a great place but with the hidden circumstances/frustrations I would book this place with caution.
